Eligibility Criteria
- Deputy Registrar (Level-12): Master’s degree or equivalent in any discipline with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade in CGPA/Grade ‘B’ in UGC 7-point scale from a recognised University/Institute, with at least 5 years’ experience as Assistant Registrar or equivalent in GP Rs. 5400 (Level-10 of 7th CPC) and above in areas such as Academic Affairs, General Administration, Audit, Stores & Purchase, Hostel Affairs etc. in Institutes of Higher Education or Research Establishment under Government sector. Desirable: Degree in Law/Management/Engineering and experience in computer applications/e-office system.
- Junior Engineer (Civil) – Level-06: Degree in Civil Engineering with 2 years’ relevant experience OR Diploma in Civil Engineering with 5 years’ relevant experience in an Institution of repute dealing with construction and maintenance.
- Junior Technical Superintendent (CSE/Programming) – Level-06: BE/B.Tech/M.Sc/MCA with 5 years’ experience in the relevant area.
- Junior Technician (Networking/CSE) – Level-03: Degree in Engineering / Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant field with 2 years’ relevant experience.
- MTS-cum-Plumber – Level-03: 10+2+ITI with two years’ relevant experience OR 10+2+ITC with three years’ relevant experience.
- MTS-cum-Electrician – Level-03: 10+2+ITI with two years’ relevant experience OR 10+2+ITC with three years’ relevant experience.
- Reservation and age relaxations are applicable as per Government of India norms, and candidates must produce prescribed category/disability certificates in the specified formats.
Age Limit (as on closing date of application)
- Deputy Registrar: Maximum 50 years.
- Junior Engineer (Civil) & Junior Technical Superintendent (CSE/Programming): Maximum 37 years.
- Junior Technician (Networking/CSE), MTS-cum-Plumber, MTS-cum-Electrician: Maximum 32 years.
- Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules for reserved categories and other eligible groups.
Application Fee
- Level-12: Rs. 1000/-
- Level-06: Rs. 500/-
- Level-03: Rs. 250/-
- SC/ST/PwD and Female candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
- Bank/transaction charges and applicable service tax, if any, must be borne by the candidate, and fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted under any circumstances.
Salary/Stipend
- Deputy Registrar will receive pay in Level-12 of 7th CPC along with admissible allowances and benefits such as Leave, NPS, Medical Reimbursement etc. as per IIIT (PPP) Act and Institute rules.
- Junior Engineer (Civil) and Junior Technical Superintendent (CSE/Programming) will receive pay in Level-06 of 7th CPC with applicable allowances and benefits as per Institute service conditions.
- Junior Technician (Networking/CSE), MTS-cum-Plumber and MTS-cum-Electrician will receive pay in Level-03 of 7th CPC along with benefits admissible under Institute rules.
Selection Process
- Candidates will be shortlisted by a duly constituted committee based on qualifications, experience, and other credentials, which may be higher than the minimum advertised.
- The selection process will comprise written test, technical ability test and/or personal interview as decided by the Institute.
- All stages of the selection process will be uploaded on the Institute website, and no interim correspondence regarding eligibility or shortlisting will be entertained.
