Desirable Qualifications:
Other things being equal, preference will be given to a candidate who has:
Served in Territorial Army for at least two years, OR
Obtained 'B' or 'C' certificate of National Cadet Corps, OR
Obtained 'C' certificate of N.S.S.
Experience:
No prior experience mentioned as mandatory
Fresh graduates with required qualifications can apply
Experience in teaching will be considered as an added advantage
Salary/Stipend
Pay Scale: Rs. 47,600 - Rs. 1,51,100 per month
Pay Level: Level-8 as per 7th Pay Commission
Post Nature: Non-Gazetted, Temporary/Permanent (Continuous)/Contributory Pension Scheme
Additional allowances like DA, HRA, TA, and other benefits as per Uttarakhand Government rules
Annual increments as per government norms

Selection Process
Selection will be based on Subject-wise Written Examination (Objective Type)
The written examination will be conducted at examination centers in Haridwar and Haldwani. However, if the number of candidates is less, the examination may be conducted only in Haridwar
Negative marking will be applicable - for each wrong answer, 1/4th of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty
Candidates must secure minimum qualifying marks as per their category to be considered for merit list
Minimum Qualifying Marks (in percentage):
General/Unreserved: 45%
OBC: 40%
EWS: 40%
SC/ST: 35%
Freedom Fighter Dependents: 35%
Ex-Servicemen: 35%
Uttarakhand PwD: 30%
Merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in the written examination
For candidates successful in multiple subjects, allocation will be done as per their online preference submitted during document verification
Final selection will be based on merit list, educational qualification, age, service rules provisions, category-wise vacancy availability, and candidate's online preference
Document verification will be conducted for candidates qualifying in the written examination
Original certificates and documents must be produced during document verification
General Information/Instructions
Candidates who applied for the previous advertisement (A-3/S-1/DR(L.I.C)/2024 dated 18/10/2024) need not re-apply, except for Arts subject. Their previous applications remain valid
Candidates who wish to re-apply must first cancel their previous application. The fee paid earlier will not be refunded
The Lecturer - Arts (General Branch) 02 posts which were removed from the previous advertisement have been re-included in this notification
Candidates should carefully read all instructions in the notification before applying
Incomplete applications will not be accepted and candidature will be automatically rejected
Candidates must ensure they meet all eligibility criteria before applying
Only online applications will be accepted through the official website
Candidates must be residents of Uttarakhand and meet mandatory/desirable eligibility requirements
Registration at Employment Exchange office in Uttarakhand is mandatory (with certain exceptions)
Government employees must obtain No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their department
Candidates working in Central/State Government/Public Undertakings must submit NOC at the time of document verification
Candidates using false certificates or providing wrong information will be debarred from all future examinations of the Commission for maximum 05 years
Action will be taken as per Uttarakhand Competitive Examinations (Prevention and Redressal of Unfair Means) Act, 2023 for any misconduct
Use of mobile phones, cameras, pagers, scanner pens, Bluetooth devices, or any communication devices is strictly prohibited in examination centers
Candidates must bring their own ID proof and admit card to the examination center
The Commission reserves the right to cancel or modify the recruitment process at any stage
