Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must be residents of the same district (Morbi) or adjoining districts and proficient in the local language and dialect (reading and writing).
- For Retired Bank Employees: Retired officers (including voluntarily retired) of any bank (PSU/RRB/Private/Co-operative) up to Chief Manager rank/equivalent, or retired clerks and equivalent of Bank of Baroda having passed JAIIB, with good track record and at least 3 years of rural banking experience.
- For Young Candidates: Minimum qualification Graduation with computer knowledge (MS Office, email, Internet etc.); preference will be given to candidates with M.Sc (IT), BE (IT), MCA, MBA.
- Young candidates should be in the age group of 21–45 years at the time of appointment; maximum age for continuation for all BC Supervisors is 65 years.
- Candidates must be willing and able to visit villages in the district for supervision and other activities periodically, and should have accommodation near the nodal branch (not outside the district).
- Due diligence including KYC and CIBIL checks will be done; those with adverse record or terminated/dismissed in past service will not be considered.
- Police verification will be carried out for each selected applicant before assignment of duty.
Age Limit (as on date of appointment)
- Minimum Age: 21 years (for young candidates).
- Maximum Age at Appointment: 45 years (for young candidates).
- Maximum Age for Continuation: 65 years for BC Supervisors.
Salary/Stipend
- Monthly remuneration includes a fixed component of Rs. 15,000 and a variable component of up to Rs. 15,000 based on performance parameters set by the Financial Inclusion Department.
- Each BC Supervisor will be reimbursed Rs. 4,000 per month towards conveyance expenses, subject to completing inspection of all assigned BC locations in the month.
- Each BC Supervisor will receive Rs. 200 per month as fixed mobile expense.
- Failure to obtain mandatory IIBF BC certification within stipulated timelines will result in deductions from the fixed component (Rs. 1,000 per month from 3rd to 6th month; Rs. 2,000 per month from 7th to 12th month); contract will not be renewed beyond 12 months in case of non-compliance.
Selection Process
- Screening of applications received in hard copy at Regional Office.
- Interview process conducted by a committee headed by the Regional Head.
- Performance in interview and fulfilment of eligibility, verification of documents and background checks will decide selection.
- Bank reserves the right to reject any application or cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning reason.
