• Qualification: Candidate who has passed MD/MS/DNB in a recognized/permitted medical college in the concerned subject.
• Candidate must have permanent registration of MCI/MMC with recent renewal

Selection Process

• Candidate will be called for interview based on provisional candidates list.
• Candidates will be required to produce all original certificates for verification at the time of interview.
• Candidates will be allowed for interview based on Documents verification by the DSB committee /Scrutiny team. No documents will be allowed to be added after cut-ff date of application submissions.
• Selection of candidate will be based on Marks obtained in the interview.
• Candidate must attend interview for selection process, failing which the claim stands cancelled. No other person on behalf on candidate will be allowed during interview.
• The preference of selection will be first to MD/MS candidates followed by DNB.
• In case of equal marks or tie in postgraduation filter will be age followed by percentage marks (%) (Minor + Major/ or III MBBS marks % as per old passing pattern of examination).
• As DNB candidates has passing grades, Provisional merit list amongst DNB candidates will be according to percentage marks (%). Minor + Major/ or III MBBS marks % as per old passing pattern of examination. In case of equal marks or tie for DNB candidates, filter will be age for preparing the provisional merit list.

General Information / Instructions

• Candidate must have passed required qualification and eligible as per the NMC TEQ Dated 14-2-2022 for Senior Resident Appointments.
• The temporary/Contractual selection will be of Six Month only. In case the Commissioner office/DMER undertakes central DSB then services will be terminated of all selected candidates without any prior notice.
• Application should be submitted in the given format only. Candidate should verify the submitted information in application form. In case of wrong / false information submitted by the student and if brought to the notice by other candidates, the application is liable for rejection, and he/she will be facing legal consequences also.
• Candidates should fill the application form in the given format only in his/her own handwriting. Prepare “one PDF” Scan copy of application all required documents.
• each attempt in MD/MS/DM/Mch/DNB exams 2 marks will be deducted from the total marks of PG. Final corrected marks will be taken into consideration for preparing provisional merit list.
• For Inter se rotation groups will be as below Group-1: SC, ST Group-2: VJ, NT1(B), Group-3: NT2(C), NT3(D), OBC/SEBC The seats remaining vacant from EWS category will be allotted to Open Category candidate.
• Category students should produce Caste certificate, Caste validity & non-creamy layer certificate valid up to 31-3-2026. If students are not producing these documents, they will be considered as Open category applicants. Kindly note acknowledgement receipts of submitted to competent authority issuing Validity/NCL proposals will NOT be considered for category claim. Submission of such documents after last date will NOT be acceptable.
• Candidates claiming EWS should submit the EWS certificate of current financial year in the specified format by the Govt. (Annexure-A). Kindly note acknowledgement receipts of submitted to competent authority issuing certificate will NOT be considered. Submission of such documents after last date will NOT be acceptable.
• Only One Provisional Candidate list will be displayed on the Govt. Medical College, Buldhana college website (www.gmcbuldhana.com)/ College Notice Board. All details as per the schedule will be notified on website only. Applicants are advised to check website as per the schedule.
• Private practice of any kind is NOT permitted during the period of appointment.
• Disciplinary action will be taken if the concerned department HOD reports about absenteeism/ irregularity in the duties/Nuisance/any other complain as may be. The candidate is liable for termination without prior notice.
• The selected Candidates will have to work 24x7 towards patient care services. He / She should compulsorily handle the HMIS systems in departments /OPD/Wards for entering patient details in all modules/ lab investigations/Discharge summary/ Indents from the wards, etc. such works should be completed with the help of on duty nursing staff/Technicians, etc. Candidates will be imparted training for using HMIS systems after joining.
• Important to note that for any subjects if institute receives appointments through MEDD/ Direct recruitment through selection board/MPSC/transfer, etc, the candidate services will be terminated without any notice.
• POLICY FOR TREMINATION OF SERVICES: Once candidate is posted by MEDD/ /MPSC/Transfers the DSB selected candidates from this institute will be terminated by following rules without any notice: a. The termination will be as per the provisional selection list of this advertisement. b. After DSB interview and as per the requirements & recommendations of HODs, if posts are remaining vacant and new orders are issued on vacant posts, then all such candidates will be placed in continuation of last DSB selected candidates in the respective department list as junior most irrespective of marks obtained in the specialty subject. c. For termination of services the junior most will be terminated first. d. The Category rotation/Inter se status will remain for all temporary appointments of this DSB. The same will be considered when an MPSC selected candidate comes for joining /permanent transfers and accordingly the temporary services will be terminated considering the selection category of candidate reporting for joining.
• Any sort of canvassing directly or indirectly will be treated as disqualification for interview and candidature of such candidate shall be rejected at any stage after DSB temporary selection.
• All Senior Resident irrespective of specialty, if required, the Dean GMC Buldhana may depute for duties of disaster management in any colleges-Zone/Health camps/VIP duties/Administrative responsibilities, etc.
• Candidate should regularly check college website www.gmcbuldhana.com for all information & changes related to Senior Resident Advertisement / amendments if any. The information published in the institute website shall be treated as official/authentic and no personal communication shall be made to the applicant.
• The advertisement will be given wide publicity through District Information officer in Local newspaper, state newspaper and institute website.
• The decision of Dean shall be final and binding in case of any issue or dispute related with the process of selection and appointments.
• Dean Govt. Medical College, Buldhana reserves the right to do amendments/changes in advertisements & may also withdraw/cancel the advertisement.

How to Apply

• Applications are invited for Senior Resident on temporary (Contractual) basis through Divisional selection board (DSB) at Govt. Medical College, Buldhana.
• The candidate is advised to carefully read all rules & regulations before filling application form.
• Application forms will be available in Gazette Section of College on payment of Rs.200/-. At Cash section of college. Application form should be submitted along with all required documents.
• The Candidate is required to submit application form in-person (Candidate or anybody on behalf of Candidate) between 24/12/2025 to 30/12/2025.
• The application should be submitted to Mr Mahadev Kavale, Senior clerk & Miss, Shewta Bairagi, Junior clerk in Gazette section of college between 11:00 Am to 5:00 PM.
• No application will be considered if institute receives application via post/email.
