Eligibility Criteria

Clinical Psychologist

• Essential Qualifications: Must possess M.A (Psychology) Degree of University in India established or incorporated by or under central act, provincial act or recognized by University Grants Commission or equivalent qualification
• Essential: Must possess P.G Diploma in Medical and Social Psychology of recognized institution OR M.Phil in Medical & Social Psychology/M.Phil in Clinical Psychology/M.Phil in Mental Health & Social Psychology of recognized University
• Essential: Must be registered in Rehabilitation Council of India

Rehabilitation Psychologist

• Essential Qualifications: PG in Psychology in M.Phil in Rehabilitation Psychology
• Essential: Must be registered in Rehabilitation Council of India

Occupational Therapist

• Essential Qualifications: Must possess Degree of B.A or B.Sc of any recognized university OR Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy of any recognized institution
• Essential: Diploma in Occupational Therapy of any recognized institution
• Note: In case Graduates (B.A or B.Sc) with Diploma in Occupational Therapy are not available, next preference will be given to candidates who possess Diploma in Occupational Therapy from any recognized institution with minimum general educational qualification

Psychiatry Social Worker

• Essential Qualifications: M.A/M.S.W Degree in Medical Psychiatric Social Work
• Essential: M.Phil Psychiatric Social Work/Ph.D

Medical Record Technician

• Essential Qualifications: Pass in PUC or any other equivalent examination of recognized institution
• Essential: Medical Record Technician Course from recognized Institution
• Essential: Must have computer knowledge
• Desirable: Preference shall be given to candidate with Hospital experience for minimum period of six months

ECG Technician

• Essential Qualifications: Must have passed Intermediate with science subject or its equivalent
• Essential: Must possess Diploma in ECG Technician course from recognized institution OR B.Sc. ECG and Cardio Vascular Technician from any Govt. recognized institution
• Essential: Must be registered in APPMB up to date Renewal

EEG Technician

• Essential Qualifications: Must have Passed intermediate examination or its equivalent
• Essential: Must Possess Diploma in EEG Technician Course from recognized institution
• Essential: Must be registered in APPMB up to date Renewal

Lab Technician Gr-II

• Essential Qualifications: Must possess DMLT or B.Sc(MLT)
• OR: If Intermediate (VOC) with one year apprenticeship in Govt. Hospitals

Age Limit 

• Upper Age Limit: 42 years as on date of notification
• Age Relaxation for SC/ST/BC/EWS Candidates: 05 (Five) years
• Age Relaxation for Ex-Servicemen: 03 (Three) years in addition to length of service in armed forces
• Age Relaxation for Differently Abled Persons: 10 (Ten) years
• Maximum Age Limit with All Relaxations: 52 years

Selection Process

• Total Marks: 100
• 75% Marks: Allocated for aggregate of marks obtained in all years in qualifying examination or any other equivalent qualification
• Up to 10 Marks: 1.0 mark per completed year after acquiring requisite Qualification as mentioned in pass certificate. Weightage reckoned up to date of notification as per Govt. Memo no.4274/D1/2013
• Up to 15% Weightage: Given to candidates working on Contract/Outsourcing/Honorarium basis including COVID-19 service subject to Satisfactory service certified by competent authority
• Weightage to Contract Employment Based on Working Area:
• 2.5 marks per six months in Tribal Area
• 2.0 marks per six months in Rural Area
• 1.0 marks per six months in Urban Areas
• No weightage for services less than six months for Non-COVID service
• COVID-19 Weightage: If individual work less than 6 months for COVID, 0.8 marks per completed month will be awarded
• COVID-19 weightage applicable only to persons who rendered services on Contract/Outsourcing/Honorarium basis and appointed by District Collector or competent authority
• Candidates claiming service weightage shall submit original contract/outsourcing/honorarium service certificate in prescribed proforma issued by competent authority along with copy of appointment orders
• Contract service will be reckoned up to date of notification as per DME AP VJA Memo no.Rc.No 2216683/P2/2023 dated 26.10.2023
• Counselling will be conducted for all candidates and will be allowed to choose only one category while exercising option
