TNPSC Combined Technical Services Examination Recruitment 2025 Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria

Accounts Officer Class III (Post Code 2093):

• Qualifications: Must have passed the Final Examination conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants / Cost Accountants

Assistant Director of Agriculture (Extension) (Post Code 3202):

• Qualifications: A degree of M.Sc. in Agricultural Extension or Agricultural Economics
• Desirable: Preference shall be given to those who possess the M.Sc. degree in Agricultural Extension

Assistant Manager (Accounts) (Post Code 3335):

• Qualifications: Should have qualified CA/ICWA course i.e. Must have passed the Final Examination conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India / Institute of Cost Accountants of India or its equivalent qualification

Senior Accounts Officer (Post Code 3535):

• Qualifications: Must be either Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant
• Experience: 2 years of experience

Assistant Manager (Legal) (Post Code 3259):

• Essential Qualifications: Must possess a degree in Law awarded by a recognized University (B.L.)
• Experience: Must have sound knowledge of Corporate Laws, Labour Laws, and experience on the original side in City Civil Courts or Mofussil courts for a period not less than five (5) years and must have good knowledge and practice in Motor Accidents Claims/Tribunal, Labour Courts, etc.
• Desirable: Preference shall be given to candidates possessing Post-Graduate Diploma in Labour Laws/Social Science

Manager Grade III (Finance) (Post Code 3301):

• Qualifications: CA/ICWA

Senior Officer (Finance) (Post Code 3302):

• Qualifications: CA/ICWA

Senior Officer (Legal) (Post Code 3312):

• Qualifications: B.L./L.L.B. Degree from a Law College recognized by University Grants Commission

Manager (Marketing) (Post Code 3394):

• Qualifications: MBA (Marketing) from a recognized University/Institute
• Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in the field of Marketing preferably in Cement Industry with 5 years of service in middle managerial position

Manager (Mechanical) (Post Code 3390):

• Qualifications: B.E/B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute
• Experience: 15 years (in one million ton capacity Cement Plant)

Deputy Manager (Mechanical) (Post Code 3395):

• Qualifications: B.E/B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering from a recognised University/Institute
• Experience: 10 years (in one million ton capacity Cement Plant)

Deputy Manager (Materials) (Post Code 3400):

• Qualifications: B.E./B.Tech. (Mechanical) from a recognised University/Institute + Diploma in Materials Management
• Experience: 10 years in the field of materials inventory

Assistant Manager (Materials) (Post Code 3401):

• Qualifications: B.E./B.Tech. (Mechanical) from a recognised University/Institute + Diploma in Materials Management
• Experience: 5 years in the field of materials inventory

Deputy Manager (Electrical) (Post Code 3396):

• Qualifications: B.E/B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from a recognised University/Institute
• Experience: 10 years (in one million ton capacity Cement Plant)

Age Limit (as on 01.07.2025)

For Others (Candidates not belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BC(OBCM)s and BCMs):

• Assistant Director of Agriculture (Extension): Should not have completed 34 years
• Assistant Manager (Accounts), Assistant Manager (Legal), Manager Grade III (Finance), Senior Officer (Finance), Senior Officer (Legal), Manager (Mechanical), Manager (Marketing), Assistant Manager (Materials), Senior Accounts Officer: Should not have completed 32 years
• Accounts Officer Class III: Should not have completed 32 years (In case of persons in regular service under Government of Tamil Nadu, the maximum age limit is 37 years)
• Deputy Manager (Electrical), Deputy Manager (Mechanical), Deputy Manager (Materials): Should not have completed 32 years

Age Relaxation for Others:

• 10 years for Persons with Benchmark Disability
• Age relaxable for Ex-Servicemen
• 50 years for Ex-Servicemen (for certain posts)
• No Maximum Age Limit for Destitute Widow (for certain posts)

For SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BC(OBCM)s and BCMs:

• All Posts: No Maximum Age Limit (candidates should not have completed 60 years of age as on 01.07.2025 or at the time of selection/appointment)

Age Relaxation for Reserved Categories:

• 10 years for Persons with Benchmark Disability
• Age relaxable for Ex-Servicemen
• No Maximum Age Limit for Destitute Widow

Application Fee

• General Candidates: Rs. 200 (Rupees Two hundred only)
• For every additional subject paper: Rs. 200 for each subject paper should be paid additionally
• Fee Exemption available for: Ex-Servicemen (Two free chances), Persons with Benchmark Disability (Full exemption), Destitute Widow (Full exemption), Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Caste (Arunthathiyars)/Scheduled Tribes (Full exemption), Backward Classes (Three Free Chances)
• Payment Mode: Online payment through Net Banking/Credit card/Debit card/UPI. Offline mode of payment will not be accepted

Selection Process

• The Combined Technical Services Examination (Interview Posts) comprises of two stages: Written Examination and Interview
• Candidates shall be admitted to the written examination based on the claims made in the online application
• Onscreen certificate verification will be conducted before admission to the physical certificate verification and interview
• Candidates will be admitted to onscreen certificate verification in the ratio of 1:3/1:4 (posts not requiring experience) and 1:10 (posts requiring experience)
• After onscreen certificate verification, based on the marks obtained in the written examination and subject to the rule of reservation of appointments, candidates shall be admitted to physical certificate verification and interview
• The objective of the Interview is to assess the suitability of the candidate for the post by judging the candidate's personality, bearing, aptitude, general knowledge, technical knowledge etc.
• Marks obtained by the candidates in the Written Examination (Part B and Part C of Paper I and Paper II) and Interview would determine final ranking
• Appearance in Paper I, Paper II and the Interview is compulsory

General Information/Instructions

• The number of vacancies and distribution of vacancies are tentative and liable for modification before the publication of results
• The Commission reserves the right to include additional posts with different nomenclature and having similar eligibility conditions
• Candidates should possess adequate knowledge in Tamil on the date of notification
• Candidates not belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BC(OBCM)s, and BCMs, who have put in 5 years or more of service are not eligible to apply (except for posts requiring experience and Accounts Officer Class-III)
• Persons with benchmark disabilities are not eligible for Deputy Manager (Mechanical), Deputy Manager (Electrical), and Deputy Manager (Materials) posts
• Candidates selected for appointment will be required to submit a certificate of physical fitness to the Appointing Authority at the time of joining
• The admission to all stages of examination will be purely provisional, subject to satisfying eligibility conditions
• The Commission reserves the right to reject candidature at any stage after due process
• All recruitments by TNPSC are purely merit-based
• Candidates are solely responsible for their claims in the online application
• Mobile phones, pagers, electronic equipment, programmable devices, or any banned items are not allowed in the examination hall

How to Apply

• Step 1: Candidates are required to apply online using the Commission's website www.tnpscexams.in
• Step 2: Register at the One Time Registration (OTR) platform by paying Rs. 150 as registration fee (valid for five years). If already registered, proceed to fill online application
• Step 3: Fill in the online form with all relevant correct details. Choose the subject paper(s) in which you have obtained educational qualification
• Step 4: Upload recent colour photograph (20KB-50KB in .jpg/.jpeg format) and signature (10KB-20KB in .jpg/.jpeg format) as per specifications
• Step 5: Upload all required documents including educational certificates, community certificate (if applicable), experience certificates (if applicable), disability certificate (if applicable), and other supporting documents
• Step 6: Choose two district centres as preference for Written Examination (candidates with benchmark disability can choose only one)
• Step 7: Pay examination fee of Rs. 200 through online mode (Net Banking/Credit card/Debit card/UPI) unless exemption is claimed
• Step 8: Preview the application carefully and make necessary corrections if required
• Step 9: Finally submit the application by clicking the 'SUBMIT' button
• Step 10: Take printout of the application for future reference
• Important: Candidates need not send the printout of online application or any supporting documents to the Commission by post unless specifically asked
• Note: Linking the Aadhaar number with One Time Registration (OTR) is mandatory for candidates
