Pay scale: PB2 (5200-20200) + Grade Pay 1850/-
Age limit: The aspirant’s age limit is minimum age of 18 years and should not be more than 28 years as on 13/09/2011, relaxation as per rules.
Educational qualification: Passed with Secondary (12th) from RBSE/CBSE or any other equivalent Board and ITI (NCVT/SCVT)/ NAC or equivalent certificates in Electrician/ Lineman/SBA/Wireman/Power Electrician Trade.
Application fee: Aspirants pay the application fee for Rs 500/- for general candidates, Rs 300/- for BC/SBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates and Rs 200/- for SC/ST/PH candidates to be deposited in Jodhpur VVNL Nigam Bank Account No. 61137272578 for apply online (OR) Who are applying offline to pay the application fee in the form of Demand draft/Pay Order / Bankers Cheque/Postal Order in favour of Accounts Officer(Cash-CPC), JdVVNL, Jodhpur payable at Jodhpur.
Selection procedure: The mode of selection is written test and interview basis.
How to apply: The eligible aspirants have to apply either online or offline modes on or before 13/09/2011.
Offline Application Form: Aspirants may also apply offline mode in prescribed format of application given in the advertisement, and send it along with all required essentials and enclosures to the following address on or before 13/09/2011, till 6.00 PM, Secretary (Admn.), Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited, New Power House Jodhpur (Rajasthan).
Online Application Form: The eligible aspirants have to apply through online from the www.jdvvnl.com website between 18/08/2011 to 13/09/2011. Aspirants follow the instructions at the time of online apply. Aspirants are required to have a valid personal email ID, in case, a candidate does not have a valid personal email ID, they should create their new email ID before applying Online.

As per the recruitment notification of Jodhpur Discom Recruitment 2011
education qualification for Technical Helper Post is
Secondary from RBSE/ CBSE or any other equivalent Board alongwith ITI (NCVT/ SCVT)/ NAC or equivalent qualification in the trade of
Electrician/ Lineman/ SBA/Wireman/ Power Electrician. Only those candidates, who possess minimum 60% marks in respective trade (55%
in case of BC/SBC and 50% in case of SC/ST category candidates)
shall be eligible to apply for appointment.
so if u have ur secondary education along with the above mentioned streams of ITI, then u may be eligible for these vacancies.
