- Two years Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc. Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in concerned subject with at least 50% aggregate marks.
- Post-Graduation with minimum 50% marks or equivalent grade and three year integrated B.Ed/M.Ed.
- Master Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the concerned subjects.
- B.Ed or equivalent degree from NCTE recognized university/institution with minimum 50% marks.
- Proficiency in teaching in English & Hindi medium.
- Knowledge of Computer Application.

- Sangeet/ Nritya Visharad of Prachin Kala Kendra, Chandigarh with graduation in any discipline.
- Four years Integrated Degree Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in concerned subject with at least 50% aggregate marks.
- Post Graduate with minimum 50% marks or equivalent grade and 3 years integrated B Ed/M Ed with minimum 50% marks.
- Bachelor Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject/combination of subjects and in aggregate.
- B Ed from a NCTE recognized institution/ University with minimum 50% marks.
- Passing of Online Screening Test conducted by the AWES with raw score of 50% marks. However, passing the AWES Online Screening Test is NOT MANDATORY for appearing for the interview. But after selection, the candidate must pass the OST within two year of being appointed with a minimum overall raw score of 50% (100 marks), failing which the appointment will be terminated.
- Passed CTET/TET conducted by CBSE / State Govts in accordance with the guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
- Graduation in Psychology with a Certificate/ Diploma in counseling with minimum three years experience as Wellness Teacher/Counsellor
- Graduate in any specialization with min 50% marks in each and overall aggregate
- B.Ed/M.Ed and B.EI.Ed with diploma in elementary education
- Minimum 08 yrs of teaching experience with at least of 05 Yrs as PRT in a CBSE recognized school
- Age Maximum 55 Yrs and 57 yrs for ESM/teachers from the same school
- Qualified in CTET and Online Screening Test conducted by AWES.

- Teachers from the same school who fulfill the min QR as laid down above would be preferred.
- Graduate holding Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject/combination of subjects and in aggregate.
- B.EI.Ed/ two year D.EI.Ed (NCTE recognized institution).
- Teachers who were already in service with Army Public Schools/ APPS prior to 11 Aug 2023 with B Ed degree can also apply, subject to enrolment/completion of Bridge Course launched by NCTE.
- Pass in Central Teacher Eligibility (CTET)/ Teachers Eligibility Test (TET), conducted by CBSE/ State Govt in accordance with the guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
- Graduation with Drawing and Painting/ Fine Art/Art with minimum two years full time diploma from recognized University or M.A in Drawing and Painting/Fine Art from recognized university.
- Graduate in any subject or equivalent from a recognized University
- One year Diploma in Yoga from a Recognized Institution with 02 years experience.
- Graduate Degree/Diploma in Dance or equivalent from a recognized university/ institution as regular course.
- Bachelor’s degree with Physical Education as an elective subject with 50% marks,
- Bachelor’s degree with physical education as an elective subject with 45% marks and participation in National or State or Inter University competition in sports or games or athletics recognized by Association of Indian University or Indian Olympics Association.
- Bachelor’s degree with 45% marks and having participated in National or State or Inter University sports or games or athletics.
- For deputed in-service candidates (i.e trained Physical Education Teachers)- Graduation with 45% marks and at least 3 years of teaching experience as per National Council for Teacher education (Recognition Norms & Procedure) Regulations, 2009.
- Graduation in Physical Education with 40% marks.

- Graduate who participated school, Inter-Collegiate in sports/games or passed NCC ‘C’ Certification in accordance with the National Council for Teacher education (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2007 notified on 10.12.2007.
- Graduation in Physical Education i.e B.P. Ed course (or its equivalent) of 3 years duration.
- Graduate having represented State/University in Sports/games/athletics.
- Graduate who has secured 1st,2nd or 3rd position in Inter-collegiate sports/games / tournament / possessing NCC ‘C’ Certificate or passed basic course in Adventure Sports.
- Graduate with one-year training program in Sports Science, Sports Management, Sport Coaching, Yoga, Olympic Education, Sports Journalism, etc. (in accordance with the National Council for Teacher Education (Form of Application for recognition, the time limit of submission of application, determination of norms and standards for recognition of teacher education program and permission to start new course or training) Regulations, 2002 notified on 13.11.2002.
- Bachelor of Physical Education (B. P. Ed) of at least one year duration (or its equivalent) from any National council for Teacher Education recognized institution.
- Graduation with 50% marks from recognized Institution/ University.
- For Fresh Teachers Appt. Diploma in minimum two year duration in Nursery Teacher Education/ Pre-School Education/ Early Childhood Program (D.E.C.Ed) or a B.Ed (Nursery) from any NCTE recognized institution.
- For Teachers in Service. NTT and ECCE qualification obtained from IGNOU/NIOS/any other NCTE recognized institution.
- Minimum experience of 05 years.
- Diploma/ Graduation in Music/dance from recognized University.

- 40 to 55 years 05 years experience is mandatory in the appropriate category in the last 10 years (For PGT category, the candidate should have worked as PGT/TGT. Experience gained as PRT in the same period shall not be counted for appointment as PGT. For the post of TGT, experience gained as PRT during last 10 years shall however be accepted and as per extant qualification laid down by regulatory bodies).
