Eligibility Criteria
Deputy Registrar: Master's degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale. AND Experience: 5 years' administrative experience as Assistant Registrar in Pay Matrix Level 10 (Pre-revised PB-3; GP 5400) or equivalent post in Government/Government Research Establishments/Universities/Statutory Organizations/Government Organization of high repute. Desirable: Service in an equivalent HEI/CFTI/CU. Experience in having handled different divisions such as General Administration, Finance & Accounts, Stores & Purchase, Academics section, Students Affairs, Registrar's Office etc.
Assistant Registrar: Master's degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed. OR Five years of experience in Pay Level-7 or above OR 7 years of experience at Pay Level 6 or above as Superintendent/Section Officer/Private Secretary or equivalent post in handling Administrative/Finance & Accounting/ Academic/ Legal/ Statutory/ Audit/ Stores & Purchase/ Establishment matters in Central/State Government/Central/State funded Educational Institutes/Govt. Universities/Comparable Research Establishment and other Institution of Higher Education with Master's Degree. Desirable: Service in an equivalent HEI/CFTI/CU. Experience: 5 years of relevant experience in scientific/technical/ICT/other relevant areas in the post carrying Pay Level-11 or equivalent post. Desirable: Experience in managing a Central Instrumentation Facility (CIF) or equivalent advanced research laboratory. Exposure to analytical and characterization instruments such as NMR, Mass Spectrometer, HPLC, GC, SEM, TEM, XRD, AFM, and related equipment. Experience in training users, preparing SOPs, and ensuring instrument uptime through preventive maintenance schedules. Knowledge of laboratory safety standards, data acquisition systems, and instrument control software. Ability to guide and supervise technical staff, coordinate with faculty and students, and support research projects requiring specialized instrumentation.
Senior Technical Officer: B.E./B.Tech. or M.Sc./BS-MS Degree, In relevant field with first class or equivalent grade and consistently excellent Academic record. Experience: 5 years of relevant experience in Scientific/Technical/ICT/other relevant areas in the post carrying pay level-10 or equivalent post. Desirable: Experience in start-up incubation, technology transfer, innovation management, or R&D project execution/coordination with familiarity in IP processes, proposal writing, etc. Strong communication and networking skills with the ability to interact with scientific community across diverse disciplines. Experience in organizing technical workshops or entrepreneurship programs is an added advantage.
Technical Officer: B.E./B.Tech./M.C.A or M.Sc./BS-MS Degree, in relevant field with first class or equivalent grade and consistently excellent Academic record. OR 5 years of proven research/laboratory experience in relevant field, e.g. operation of scientific/technical equipment and support to academic and research framework of premier research and academic Institutes/Organizations with B.E./B.Tech./M.C.A or M.Sc./BS-MS Degree, In relevant field with first class or equivalent grade and consistently excellent Academic record. Desirable: Exposure to analytical and characterization instruments such as NMR, Mass Spectrometer, HPLC, GC, SEM, TEM, XRD, AFM, and related equipment.
Veterinarian: B.V.Sc. with 8 years of experience or M.V.Sc. (Veterinary/Pathology/ Microbiology/Virology/Medicine or equivalent qualifications) with 5 years’ experience in handling experimental animals including breeding and maintenance of transgenic animals. The candidate should have a proven track record of working in an animal research facility, preferably linked to an academic institution.
Executive Engineer (Civil): First class Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute. Experience 10 years of experience at the level of Assistant Engineer or equivalent position in Pay Level-7 or above. OR 5 years of experience as Assistant Executive Engineer or equivalent position in Pay Level-10 in reputed Govt. Institutions/Public Works Organizations/PSUs etc., dealing in construction of building projects as per Govt./CPWD norms.
Nurse: Master’s Degree (with 50% marks) in Nursing from recognized University/Institutions. OR First Class Degree in B.Sc. (Nursing) (4-year course) from a recognized Institute/University AND Should be registered as Nurses & Midwife in Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council. Experience: Minimum 3 years’ clinical experience in minimum 50 bedded hospital recognized by Central/State Govt./Medical Council of India.

Selection Process

In the case of a tie in the marks obtained in the written examination, the candidate senior in age shall be placed higher in merit, as per Government of India norms

The advertised posts are as per Central Government pay scales in accordance with the 7th CPC and carry the usual allowances such as DA, HRA, Transport Allowance, etc
The advertised posts are covered under the New Pension Scheme (NPS) of the National Pension System with benefits such as Medical Reimbursement, LTC, etc., as per Government of India norms
Age relaxation shall be applicable as per the Government of India rules
For Institute employees, there shall be no upper age limit. However, they must have at least one year of remaining service from the closing date of application submission until the date of superannuation
The qualifications, experience claimed, and age limit prescribed will be considered as on the closing date of online submission of the application
Apprenticeship, training, and similar engagements will not be counted as experience
The prescribed qualifications and experience are minimum requirements. Mere possession of the same shall not automatically entitle a candidate to be called for further stages of selection. If the number of applications received is large, the Institute reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates called for the selection process based on higher qualifications/experience in Government sectors and/ or other criteria. Applicants are advised to furnish and upload complete details of all qualifications and experience. Experience certificates must be issued on the organization’s letterhead and clearly mention the post held, nature of duties, period of employment, and pay scale/level. The certificate must bear the date, signature, name, and seal of the issuing authority
Claims of equivalent pay will be computed based on the initial pay in Cell 1 of the relevant 7th CPC pay level or the minimum pay of the corresponding Central Government pay scale applicable during the claimed period. Candidates must submit an equivalency certificate issued by their present employer. Candidates serving under IDA pay pattern must ensure that the certificate explicitly states the corresponding Central Government pay level
Candidates must disclose details of any penalties/punishments imposed on them or any disciplinary/inquiry proceedings initiated against them

Step 3: After submission, the payment gateway will open for payment of fee (Rs.1000 for Group A; Rs.500 for Group B & C posts). Fee is not applicable for SC/ST/PwD/Women/Ex-Servicemen candidates. Follow payment instructions carefully. Applications without fee payment will not be accepted
Payment Process: After final submission, the payment information will be displayed. Click “Proceed for Payment” to reach the SBI Payment Gateway.
