Eligibility Criteria

  • Associate Faculty (IT) (Senior Resource Person):
  • Essential Qualification: a) MCA/DOEACC B Level/ B.E./B.Tech (Computer Science or Computer Engg or IT)/M.Sc(CS/IT) from a recognized University/Institute or b) M.Tech/M.E.in Computer Science or IT/Ph.D from a recognized University/Institute
  • Post Qualification Experience: Min 3+ Years of experience for a) or Min 1+ Years of experience for b)
  • Desired Knowledge/ Qualification / Certification: Having working knowledge of Artificial Intelligence/ Digital Marketing/RDBMS/Cybersecurity/Cloud Computing/ Data Structure or any latest upcoming technology. Preferable: The candidates having teaching skills/experience in the domain shall be preferred.
  • Junior Resource Person (IT):
  • Essential Qualification: a) Graduation in any domain with NIELIT A Level /one year Diploma in Computers from a recognized University/Institute or b) B.Tech /B.E. in (Computer Science or IT stream) / MCA/MSc (IT) from a recognized University/Institute
  • Post Qualification Experience: Min 1+ Years of experience for a) or Nil for b)
  • Desired Knowledge/ Qualification / Certification: Having working knowledge of any Programming Language and Good hold on Office tools and having Teaching Aptitude. Preferable: The candidates having teaching skills/experience in the domain shall be preferred
  • Technical Assistant:
  • Essential Qualification: a) BCA or b) BSc (IT/ Electronics/CS) or c) Graduation with O/A Level/CHM O level/PGDCA or d) higher from a recognized University/Institute
  • Post Qualification Experience: NIL
  • Desired Knowledge/ Qualification / Certification: Desirable Skills 1. Knowledge of Software Installation, OS Installation, Firewall management/ BIOS Configuration, IP Configuration/ Lab Management / Networking Essentials. 2. Troubleshooting of PC and other Hardware Devices 3. Configuring network hardware like servers, routers, switches, firewall, upgrade network etc. 4. CCNA certification.

Selection Process

  • Scrutiny of the eligibility documents will be done.
  • After successful verification of the documents, candidates may appear for the written test and/or interview.

General Information/ Instructions

  • The contractual engagement for these positions will be on fulltime basis and Resource Person shall not engage in any other activity or work or hold any position or financial benefits elsewhere which may hamper his /her duty as assigned hitherto or may be prejudicial to the interests of the organization.
  • The contractual engagement is purely short-term and temporary in nature, which shall NOT create any right or claim or preference, either for regular employment in the organization, or for regularization, or extension of period of contract.
  • NIELIT will create a panel for each position in order of merit. Resource Person will be selected for appointment on contract from the respective panel as and when required. However, the panel will be valid for two years. The selected Resource Person from the panel will be appointed initially for a period of 1 year, which may be further extended based on the performance of the candidate, up to a maximum of 5 years.
  • The term of engagement can also be curtailed based on the performance of the Resource Person and/or subject to requirements of the organization.
  • In case the candidate is applying for multiple positions, separate Registration/application form for each position has to be filled. However, candidates applying for multiple positions are required to mention the same e-mail id and contact number in all applications.
  • Applicants are required to go through the eligibility criteria carefully and ascertain themselves regarding their eligibility before registering.
  • On day of Interview, scrutiny of the eligibility documents will be done. After successful verification of the documents, candidates may appear for the written test and/or interview.
  • Empanelment does not provide any right to candidate to claim for job. Candidates will be called as per requirement of NIELIT Delhi Centre.
  • No TA/DA will be provided to candidates for appearing in the interview.
  • The qualification of the candidates must be from a recognized University/Institution.
  • Applicants with last semester result awaited or incomplete degrees are not eligible to apply.
  • Applicants must bring ALL original Marksheets/degrees/testimonials/post qualification experience certificates(including the experience letter from the current place of work), valid photo ID and their self-attested photocopies on the day of the interview for verification purpose, otherwise they will not be allowed to appear in the interview. Cut-off date for calculating experience will be 22 Feb 2026.
  • Name of the Applicant in application form must be same as mentioned in the certificate of class X. In case the candidate has changed his name subsequent to X, the evidence to that effect should be furnished at the time of interview.
  • Existing faculty members of NIELIT may be allowed to apply for the above positions, subject to submission of a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their controlling officer along with their application.
  • There is no registration fee required to apply for the above-mentioned positions.
  • Canvassing or trying to influence NIELIT employees to secure the job in any manner shall disqualify the candidate.
  • NIELIT Delhi Centre has the right to accept or reject the application without assigning any reason thereof.
