Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification (Essential)
JRF Position: M.Tech./M.E. degree in one of the following specializations:
- Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)
- Electrical Engineering (EE)
- Electronics & Instrumentation (E&I)
Minimum Marks Required:
- General (GEN)/General-EWS/OBC-NCL Category: Minimum 60% aggregate marks OR 6.5 CGPA at both UG (Bachelor's) and PG (Master's) levels
- SC/ST/PwD Category: Minimum 55% aggregate marks OR 6.0 CGPA at both UG (Bachelor's) and PG (Master's) levels
Desirable Qualifications
- Valid GATE or NET score (not mandatory but preferred)
- Solid understanding of digital communication, probability theory, optimization, and wireless communications
- Experience with programming languages such as MATLAB or Python
- Experience with simulation tools
- Prior research or industrial experience in relevant fields
Age Limit
- Maximum age: 35 years
- Age will be calculated as on the closing date of application: 15-02-2026
- Relaxation in age limit as per Government of India rules for SC/ST/OBC/Women/PwD/EWS candidates

Selection Process

Terms and Conditions
- This is a temporary research position under a sponsored research project
- The position is contractual in nature for the project duration
- Selected candidates must sign an agreement at the time of joining

- SC/ST/OBC/Women/PwD/EWS candidates will get relaxation in qualification and age as per Government of India rules

Job Responsibilities (JRF)
The Junior Research Fellow will be responsible for:
- Assisting in research activities related to Terahertz Wireless Communications Systems
- Conducting literature reviews and theoretical analysis
- Developing hardware prototypes and testing systems
- Working on AI/ML algorithms for beam training and resource management
- Conducting simulations using MATLAB, Python, or other relevant tools
- Preparing experimental setups and conducting measurements
- Publishing research findings in peer-reviewed journals and conferences
- Documenting research progress and maintaining project records
- Collaborating with team members and faculty
