What is the 4-Year ITEP Programme?

ITEP is the modern, integrated version of teacher education. Instead of separate graduation + B.Ed, you complete both in 4 years and earn a dual degree (e.g., B.A. B.Ed., B.Sc. B.Ed., B.Com. B.Ed.). Graduates are immediately eligible to teach in schools.

Offered by Central/State Universities, IITs, NITs, and RIEs. Approximately 9,750 seats are expected this year.

After the Exam: Results, Counselling & Participating Institutions

  • Results usually declared within ~1 month.
  • Score valid for admission across all participating institutions.
  • Counselling conducted by individual universities/institutes — monitor their official websites post-results.
  • Notable participating institutions include Delhi University, Jamia Millia Islamia, Banaras Hindu University, and many others.
