- Qualification: MA (Psychology) degree from a recognized university or Diploma in Counselling or MSW degree must be held at the time of application.
- Desirable: Candidates with minimum one year experience in counselling will be given preference.

- Consolidated remuneration: Rs. 30,000/- per month
- Appointment is purely contractual for 11 months.

General Information / Instructions
- The appointment is purely contractual; no benefits/facilities of regular government employees will be provided.
- Any pressure or recommendation from outside will make the candidate ineligible.
- Priority will be given to candidates holding MA (Psychology) or Counselling Diploma.
- Performance will be reviewed regularly by the Head of Department (Psychiatry), Deputy Deans, and Dean; unsatisfactory performance may lead to termination at any stage.
- Candidates must work under the control of the Head of Department (Psychiatry), Deputy Deans, and Dean, and perform full-time duties.
- No right to permanent appointment can be claimed.
- Before joining, candidates must submit a notarized undertaking on Rs. 100/- bond paper accepting terms and declaring no petition will be filed for permanent absorption.
- Higher qualifications and experience will be preferred.
- The Dean reserves the right to change/cancel the selection process or criteria without prior notice.
