Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI/NMC.
- Candidates holding DNB in broad specialties or super specialties as qualifying education must produce documentary evidence issued by competent authority regarding DNB equivalence with MD/MS/DM/MCh as per MCI, New Delhi notification dated 31-10-2018.
- Those who have undergone DNB training from institutions given under para 2(a) and 2(b) of the MCI notification do not need extra experience after qualifying degree for equivalence.
- Candidates who have undergone DNB training at institutions given under para 2(c) and 2(d) of the MCI notification require 01 year and 02 years extra experience respectively (total 04 and 05 years’ experience respectively) from MCI recognized/permitted institution for equivalence.
- Candidates applying for the post(s) must satisfy eligibility for the post(s) and must fulfill all eligibility criteria on or before 15.01.2026.

Salary/Stipend
- Professor: Entry Level Pay Matrix 14A (Basic Rs. 1,68,900–2,20,400) as per 7th CPC and all usual allowances, plus NPA for candidates possessing medical qualification.
- Additional Professor: Entry Level Pay Matrix 13A2 (Basic Rs. 1,48,200–2,11,400) as per 7th CPC and all usual allowances, plus NPA for candidates possessing medical qualification.
- Associate Professor: Entry Level Pay Matrix 13A1 (Basic Rs. 1,38,300–2,09,200) as per 7th CPC and all usual allowances, plus NPA for candidates possessing medical qualification.
- Assistant Professor: Entry Level Pay Matrix 12 (Basic Rs. 1,01,500–1,67,400) as per 7th CPC and all usual allowances, plus NPA for candidates possessing medical qualification.
- For contract appointments of retired faculty as Consultants: A fixed monthly amount shall be admissible, arrived at by deducting basic pension from the pay last drawn at the time of retirement, as per Department of Expenditure OM F.No.3-25/2020-E.IIIA dated 09.12.2020, with no annual increment or percentage enhancement during contract period.
- Retired faculty appointed as Consultants shall also be entitled to residential accommodation subject to applicable deductions in respect of such accommodation as per Government instructions.

- Professor / Additional Professor (Direct Recruitment): Not exceeding 58 years.
- Professor / Additional Professor (Deputation): Not exceeding 56 years.
- Professor / Additional Professor (Retired Faculty on Contract): Not exceeding 70 years.
- Associate Professor / Assistant Professor: Not exceeding 50 years.
- SC/ST: Relaxation of 05 years over and above prescribed upper age limit.
- OBC: Relaxation of 03 years over and above prescribed upper age limit.
- Economically Weaker Section (EWS): No age relaxation.
- Central Government Servant fulfilling conditions as prescribed in OM No. 15012/2/2010-Estt.(D) dated 27th March 2012: Relaxation of 05 years.
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): Age relaxation will be extended as per DoPT guidelines issued on 06.09.2022 (10 years relaxation mentioned for PwBD candidates in reservation section).

Selection Process
- Applications received within the prescribed date and time with requisite fee will be scrutinized by the scrutiny committee of the Institute.
- Candidates found eligible after scrutiny will ONLY be called for personal interview by the Standing Selection Committee (SSC) of the Institute.
- Mere fulfilling eligibility criteria does not confer the right to be called for interview or selection; eligibility will be decided based on duration and nature of experience, patient care, teaching/training, research, number and quality of publications, publication metrics, and administrative experience.
- If the number of applicants is large, the Selection Committee may devise additional criteria and procedure for shortlisting, including holding a written examination if necessary.
- Only eligible/shortlisted candidates will be called for interview, subject to verification of all requirements and documents; otherwise, they will not be allowed to appear for interview.
- Interview schedule will be published on the official website of AIIMS Bilaspur.
- Candidates called for interview must make a presentation on their work/achievements (maximum 05 minutes) in Microsoft PowerPoint as per prescribed proforma, to be submitted in a Pen Drive with the application and updated if required.
- Candidates must appear personally and physically before the Selection Committee; no online interview through electronic media (e.g., Skype, Viber) will be allowed.
- The decision of the competent authority regarding selection of candidates will be final and no representation will be entertained.
- Selected candidates will be issued appointment letters subject to being declared medically fit by the Medical Board of the Institute and verification of documents, declarations, and antecedents.

- Selected candidates will be governed by the New Pension Scheme as per Ministry of Finance Notification No.5/7/2003-ECB&PR dated 22.12.2003.
