Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Varies by post – MBBS + PG degree/diploma in concerned specialty + registration with concerned council for specialists; MBBS/BDS for Medical Officer; GNM/B.Sc Nursing for Staff Nurse; 12th + relevant diploma/degree + council registration for technicians/pharmacist/ANM; 10+2 + computer knowledge for Data Entry Operator; 8th pass for Ward Boy/Aaya; one-year dresser training preferred for Dresser.
- Essential Qualification: As listed in vacancy table; registration with Chhattisgarh/concerned council mandatory where applicable.
- Experience: Preference for relevant experience; marks for experience (2 marks per year, max 10).
- Chhattisgarh domicile and Kanker district local resident required for most posts (priority to Kanker locals for lower posts).
Salary/ Stipend
- Lump-sum monthly honorarium only (no other allowances/benefits).
- Ranges from ₹8,000 (Ward Boy/Aaya) to ₹70,000 (Medical Officer) and ₹16,500 for many paramedical/specialist posts.

Age Limit (as on 01 January 2026)
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 70 years for medical/specialist posts; 60 years for other posts

- Academic merit (70% weightage)
- Interview / Written / Skill test (20 marks)
- Experience (10 marks – 2 marks per year)
- Minimum 30% in interview/written/skill test mandatory
- Document verification + merit list + priority rules (local Kanker resident priority for lower posts; CG domicile for specialists)
- Preference for trained Mitanni (ANM), 1-year dresser course, etc. for specific posts
General Information/ Instructions
- Purely temporary/contractual/local arrangement under DMFT; not regular or contractual in usual sense; terminates automatically on regular appointment.
- Valid for 1 year; extendable only if funds available and performance satisfactory.
- One month notice or pay to terminate from either side.
- Chhattisgarh domicile + Kanker local resident certificate mandatory for priority posts.
- Employment registration (live) + caste/residence proof required.
- Original documents + self-attested copies mandatory at walk-in.
- No TA/DA for attending.
- Final authority: Collector & DMFT Committee / CMHO Kanker.
