Eligibility Criteria
For Deputation: Graduate qualification in any discipline with experience in Administration, Accounts, House-Keeping, Establishment Matters etc.
For Deputation: Officers of Central/State Government, Semi-Government Organizations, Universities, Research Institutions, Autonomous Bodies, PSUs holding analogous post or lower posts in Level-10 of Pay Matrix (PB-3, GP Rs. 5400 pre-revised) with at least five years service OR in Level-7 (PB-2, GP Rs. 4600 pre-revised) for at least seven years OR in Level-8 (PB-2, GP Rs. 4800 pre-revised) and Level-10 (PB-3, GP Rs. 5400 pre-revised) with total of 6 years service.
For Direct Recruitment: Graduate preferably with Post Graduate diploma in Materials Management, training in secretariat work or passed UPSC examination of Section Officers/Stenographer/Private Secretary/Stores Purchase Officer.
For Direct Recruitment: Experience of at least five years in Level-10 (PB-3, GP Rs. 5400 pre-revised) OR seven years in Level-7 (PB-2, GP Rs. 4600 pre-revised) OR four years in Level-8 (PB-2, GP Rs. 4800 pre-revised) and four years in Level-10 (PB-3, GP Rs. 5400 pre-revised), with total 8 years experience of stores and keeping accounts in stores work in a Govt. Office or a Public body or an organization of repute.
Desirable: Knowledge of Govt. Rules & Regulations and Computer Application/Management Information System.
All educational and professional qualifications must be from a recognized Board/University.
Salary / Stipend
Pay in Level-11 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix with Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance, Children Education Allowance, Leave Travel Concession, Medical Facilities and other allowances/advances as per Govt. of India Rules.
Recruited candidates will be covered under National Pension System (NPS) of the Government of India unless provided otherwise as per Govt. of India Rules.
Age Limit
For Direct Recruitment: Age of the applicant should not be more than 40 years as on 20.01.2026.
For Deputation: Not exceeding 56 years as on the last date for receipt of applications.
There would be no upper age limit in respect of Officers/Staff members already working on regular basis in the Institute.
For Direct Recruitment UR category, lower limit of date of birth is 20.01.2008 (born on or before) and upper limit of date of birth is 20.01.1986 (born on or after).
Application Fee
A non-refundable Application Fee of Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred Only) is payable in case of Direct Recruitment.
Fee is to be paid online through Credit Card, Debit Card or Net Banking.
Application Fee paid by candidates who have not submitted their application or whose application is rejected will not be refunded.
All applicable service charges and bank charges shall be borne by the candidates only.

Selection Process
The selection process will consist of interview of shortlisted applicants.
In case more than one candidate secures equal aggregate marks in interview, tie cases will be resolved by date of birth (older candidate placed higher in merit list).
If still tied, alphabetical order (English Language) of candidates’ names will be used to decide merit.
The interview will be conducted in Delhi only.

The Institute reserves the right to withdraw or cancel the advertisement at any stage of recruitment process and may keep the advertised vacancy unfilled.
Candidates must have acquired the essential educational qualifications and experience requirements as on the crucial date of eligibility i.e. 20.01.2026; those awaiting results as on this date are not eligible.
The total period of deputation including prior deputation in another ex-cadre post shall not exceed 5 years.
Deputation will be governed by standard terms and conditions and applicable Government rules as amended from time to time.
Self-attested documents like proof of age, academic and professional qualifications, experience certificate, disability and community certificate (for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/EWS) along with complete ACR/APAR dossier of last five years, Vigilance Clearance, Integrity Certificate and Employer’s Certificate must be enclosed with deputation applications.
Departmental candidates in the feeder cadre who are in the direct line of promotion are not eligible for appointment on deputation.
Candidates will not be allowed to withdraw their candidature after applying.
Applications received after the last date or incomplete for want of APARs/No Objection/Vigilance Clearance Certificate or without office seal will be rejected.
Nationality requirement: Candidate must be a citizen of India.
Reservation/relaxation benefits are applicable as per Govt. of India instructions for reserved categories against earmarked vacancies.
Candidates applying against UR vacancies will be treated as general candidates.
OBC candidates must possess valid Central Government format caste/community certificate and non-creamy layer certificate for 2024–25.
Puzzle with Benchmark Disability of 40% and more will be considered as PwBD and must produce prescribed medical certificate from Competent Medical Authority.
Candidature will remain provisional till verification of documents by the Appointing Authority.
