TN RTE Admission 2025-26
The Tamil Nadu Right to Education (RTE) Admission for the academic year 2025-26 has officially commenced following the Government of India's release of funds dedicated to the reimbursement of tuition fees for students admitted under the RTE Act.
This marks a significant step toward ensuring free and compulsory education in private schools for eligible children across the state. The admission process will be conducted entirely online, providing a transparent, efficient procedure for parents and guardians to secure seats for their children under the mandated 25% reservation in private institutions.
Under the Right to Education Act, private unaided schools in Tamil Nadu must reserve 25% of their entry-level class seats for children from economically weaker sections and disadvantaged groups.]
