Eligibility Criteria
Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Paediatrics from a MCI recognised institute with one year compulsory internship. Must be registered under WBMC/MCI. Weightage will be given for higher qualification.
MBBS from a MCI recognised institute with one year compulsory internship. Must be registered under WBMC/MCI. Desirable: DCH/DGO or Similar Experience. Preference will be given for Lady Medical Officer.

General Information / Instructions
The applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal
The applicant must have knowledge of local languages
Applicants are requested to visit www.wbhealth.gov.in at the URL "Recruitment" and www.alipurduar.gov.in regularly for information/instruction issued from time to time.
Application forms not properly filled in or incomplete application forms are liable to be cancelled. If the application details submitted by the applicant differ with the original testimonials, that application shall be liable to be cancelled.
Any omission/suppression of information shall lead to rejection of application or candidature at any stage of the process without further intimation.
The essential Qualifications mentioned are the minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle the candidate to claim selection. All the essential qualification must have been completed within the date of application.
Experience will be calculated after obtaining the required qualification for the above mentioned position, till the date of application.
Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority of West Bengal only will be accepted and must be produce on or before the date of walk in interview & interview. In case of OBC candidates, category 'A' or 'B' must be mentioned specifically in the caste certificate; otherwise the caste certificate will not be accepted (Re validated Caste Certificate must be produced/submitted during document verification; otherwise candidature will be cancelled).
In case of EWS candidate's certificate issued on or before the date of document verification & interview by the competent authorities of West Bengal, only will be accepted.
All marks must be calculated excluding marks of Additional Subject, No rounding off of marks will be granted. Proportionate marking up to 2 decimal points will be considered.
Age will be calculated in respect with 1st January of the year of the recruitment notice published.
The candidates, who are found ineligible at any step of the above mentioned mode of selection, will not be called for the subsequent stages.
The decision of the competent authority regarding the recruitment is final.
DLSC (District Level Selection Committee) has every right to take decision at any point of process & that will be the final, the competent authorities may cancel the recruitment process at any stage of the selection process.
Recruitment Panel of the Candidates will be valid for one year from the date of approval and vacancy generated will be filled in form the valid panel within one year.
No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for the selection/test/interview.
