DHS Erode Contract Staff Recruitment 2026 Vacancy Details 

Eligibility Criteria

• Tuberculosis Health Visitor: a) Graduate in Science OR b) Intermediate (10 + 2) in science and experience of working as MPW / LHV / ANM / Health Worker Certificate. c) Higher course in Health Education / Counselling. d) Tuberculosis Health visitors recognized course. e) Certificate course in computer operations (Minimum Two Months).
• Lab Technician (NTEP): a) Intermediate (10 + 2) and Diploma or Certified Course in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent. b) 1 Year Experience in NTEP or Sputum Smear Microscopy. c) Candidates with Higher Qualification shall be Preferred.
• Counsellor (ICTC): a) Psychology/ Social Work/ Sociology/Anthropology/Human Development or Diploma in Nursing with minimum 3 years of experience in HIV/AIDS. b) For those recruited from community infected/affected by HIV/AIDS: graduates from any field or diploma in Nursing may be considered if they have minimum 1 year experience in HIV/AIDS.
• Lab Technician (ICTC): a) Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT)- 2 years from state government approved institution only. b) LTs who do not hold DMLT may continue if they have done certificate course in Medical Laboratory technology and have over 5 years of experience working in ICTC.
• Audio Metric Assistant: One Year Diploma in Hearing Language and Speech (DHLS) and trained to handle ENT equipment’s.
• Siddha Dispenser: SSLC, HSC, Diploma in Pharmacy (AYUSH), D.Pharm Integrated - Pharmacy Course (for certificates issued by Government of Tamil Nadu only).
• Radiographer: B.Sc.Radiography.
• Security Guard: 8th Standard Pass and Able to read and write.
• Experience period shall be counted from the date of acquiring the essential qualification.

Salary/Stipend

• Tuberculosis Health Visitor: Rs 13,300/- per month.
• Lab Technician (NTEP/ICTC): Rs 13,000/- per month.
• Counsellor (ICTC): Rs 18,000/- per month.
• Audio Metric Assistant: Rs 17,250/- per month.
• Siddha Dispenser: Rs 15,000/- per month.
• Radiographer: Rs 13,300/- per month.
• Security Guard: Rs 8,500/- per month.
• The posts are purely temporary and on contract basis.
