Eligibility Criteria
- Pharmacist: Posses a degree in Pharmacy or a diploma in Pharmacy of a recognized university, or an equivalent educational qualification and must have registered his/her name with the Gujarat pharmacy council. Provided that preference shall be given to a candidate having experience in dispensing the medicine in hospitals or dispensaries. A candidate possessing knowledge of Computer is a additional qualification (AS PER GUHP)
- Sanitary Inspector: The candidate should have passed training course for sanitary inspector recognized by the Government or passed the Health Workers basic Training Course recognized by the Government (AS PER GUHP)
- Female Health Worker / A.N.M.: The candidate should have passed the Health Workers basic Training Course recognized by the Government or passed Diploma in Nursing or passed training course for recognized sanitary inspector's course (preferably female candidate) (AS PER GUHP)
- P.H.N.: Retired PHN/FHS/ MPW/ FHW or having at least 3 years of experience in Government health Department. General Nature and purpose of the job: The Supervisor/PHN/LHV in the Urban Health Centre is a member of the Health team in the urban health centre. She works in an urban health centre and gives health care in a defined area (AS PER GUHP)
- Lab. Tech.: Possess the degree of B.Sc. with chemistry or microbiology as principal subject or M.Sc with organic chemistry or microbiology Possess the certificate of having passed the prescribed Laboratory college in Gujarat State. Technician, training course conducted by a recognized institution or a medical Provided that the preference shall be given to a candidate possessing practical experience of Laboratory work (AS PER GUHP)
Salary/ Stipend
- Pharmacist: Rs. 11,000/- per month
- Sanitary Inspector: Rs. 8,000/- per month
- Female Health Worker / A.N.M.: Rs. 11,000/- per month
- P.H.N.: Rs. 11,500/- per month
- Lab. Tech.: Rs. 11,000/- per month
Age Limit (as on last date of application)
- Up to 58 years
- Retired individuals with above qualifications can also apply with an age limit upto 62 Years if physically fit
Selection Process
- Selection for all cadres based on the percentage obtained in the final year of Degree / Diploma / Graduation
- If there is more than one trial in the final year, 3% deduction per trial for preparing the merit list
- For cadres where computer skills are required as per TOR, candidates with computer qualifications will be considered in merit
- For positions involving computer operations, a practical computer exam will be required
General Information/ Instructions
- Only online applications received at https://arogyasathi.gujarat.gov.in will be accepted. Applications received via RPAD, speed post, courier or ordinary post will not be valid
- Clear photocopies of original documents must be uploaded in the software. Applications without required documents uploaded will not be approved
- Applications with incomplete details will be invalid
- For homeopathic / ayurvedic doctors (R.B.S.K.), all mark sheets of Std. 12 must be attached
- Age limit will be calculated as on the last date of application
- The recruitment process will create a merit list and waiting list as per government guidelines
- All correspondence for the above positions will be done only via email from now on, so verify and enter the email ID and check emails periodically
- The contract-based period for the above positions is for 11 months. It can be increased or decreased based on necessity and budget. These positions are not eligible to become permanent
- The place of appointment for the appointed candidate will be limited to Jamnagar District Panchayat only. Your appointment will not be transferable to other districts. This will be binding on you and applications for transfer to other districts / corporations will not be entertained
- Decisions regarding appointment such as increasing or decreasing positions, canceling recruitment, as well as all final decisions regarding the above recruitment process will rest with the Mission Director, District Health Society and Chief District Health Officer, Jamnagar
