Eligibility Criteria

Officer-In Charge

• Qualification: Only retired Service Officers from Indian Army/Indian Navy/Indian Air Force should be drawing pension from Defence Estimates through CDA
• Essential: Must be retired Service Officer with pension from Defence

Medical Officer

• Qualification: MBBS

Dental Officer

• Qualification: Merit in BDS
• Desirable: PG/Other Additional Qualification

Pharmacist

• Qualification: B Pharma and Diploma in Pharmacy

Laboratory Technician

• Qualification: BSc (Medical Laboratory Technology) OR Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized institution OR DMLT/Class I Laboratory Tech Course (Armed Forces)

Nurse/Nursing Assistant

• Qualification: GNM Diploma/Class-I Course (Armed Forces)

Dental Assistant/Hygienist Technician

• Qualification: Diploma holder in dental hygienist/Class-I DH/DORA Course (Armed Forces)

Clerk

• Qualification: Graduate/Class I Clerical Trade (Armed Forces)
• Desirable: Proficient in Office Assistance. Preference shall be given to individuals enrolled in Office Assistance

Driver

• Qualification: Class 8th or Class I MT Driver (Armed Forces). Possess a civil driving license (LMV)
• Desirable: Preference shall be given to Class 8th or GD Trade for Armed Forces persons. Preference shall be given to individuals proficient in Office Assistance

Chowkidar

• Qualification: Class 8th or GD Trade Armed Forces
• Desirable: Preference shall be given to individuals proficient in Office Assistance

Safaiwala

• Qualification: Literate

Female Attendant

• Qualification: Literate

Salary/Stipend

• Officer-In Charge: Rs. 95,000/- per month
• Medical Officer: Rs. 36,500/- per month
• Dental Officer: Rs. 36,500/- per month
• Pharmacist: Rs. 36,500/- per month
• Laboratory Technician: Rs. 29,200/- per month
• Nurse/Nursing Assistant: Rs. 25,600/- per month
• Dental Assistant/Hygienist Technician: Rs. 25,600/- per month
• Clerk: Rs. 21,800/- per month
• Driver: Rs. 21,800/- per month
• Chowkidar: Rs. 21,800/- per month
• Safaiwala: Rs. 21,800/- per month
• Female Attendant: Rs. 21,800/- per month
• Note: All positions are offered on contractual basis with fixed monthly remuneration

Selection Process

• Shortlisted candidates will be intimated through e-mail
• Shortlisted candidates must reach Station HQ, Gaya at 1000 hrs on 13/02/2026 for the interview scheduled from 1030 hrs onwards
• Selection will be based on interview performance
• Candidates shall bring all the original certificate/marks sheets/degree of 10th/Matric, 10+2 & Graduation/Post Graduation/diploma/course, work experience and discharge book, PPO, Service Records and 02 passport size colour photographs at the time of interview
• Only candidates meeting the Eligibility Criteria may apply
• No TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview

General Information/Instructions

• ECHS invites applications to empanel for engagement of Medical, Para Medical & Non Medical staff on contractual basis for 05 ECHS polyclinics at Gaya, Sasaram, Bhagalpur, Munger & Khagaria
• Engagement period is for one year (during FY 2026-27), which may be renewed for another one year subject to the requirement and candidates meeting the eligibility as well as performance level
• Preference shall be given to the Ex-Servicemen and widows of Service personnel
• Appointing authority reserves rights to increase/decrease the requirement being advertised
• Any application received after the stipulated date & time shall not be considered

• Application as per requisite format (available on ECHS website www.echs.gov.in) must be submitted
• Application should be as per the format given at ECHS website
• Application alongwith self-attested photocopies of testimonials including Educational Qualifications and Work Experiences shall be submitted
• Submit the complete application to: OIC, Station HQ (ECHS Cell), Gaya
• Last Date for Receipt of Application: 05 Feb 2026 by 1700 hrs
• Any application received after the stipulated date & time shall not be considered
