Eligibility Criteria
- Searcher: Essential qualifications: (1) Degree of a recognized University or equivalent. (2) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
- Assistant Superintendent of Fisheries: Essential qualifications: (1) Master's Degree in Fisheries Science or Bachelor's Degree in Fisheries Science or Post Graduate Diploma in Fisheries, failing which, Master's Degree in Marine Science/ Zoology/ Marine Biology from a recognized University. (2) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
- Inspector Legal Metrology: Essential qualifications: (1) Degree in Science (with Physics as one of the subjects) or Technology or Engineering from a recognized University. OR Diploma in Engineering from a recognized Board/ Institution with three years professional experience. (2) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
- Junior Geologist: Essential qualifications: (1) Bachelor of Science in Geology. (2) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
- Assistant Chemist: Essential qualifications: (1) A Post Graduate Degree in Science with Chemistry/ Microbiology as a principle subject from a recognized University or equivalent. OR A Degree in Science with Chemistry/ Microbiology as a principle subject with 3 years experience in the Laboratory in the field of water and Sewage Analysis. (2) Knowledge of Konkani. - Assistant Archivist Grade II: Essential qualifications: (1) Degree of a recognised University with Portuguese as principal or subsidiary subject. OR (1) Degree in Indian History of a recognized University with Portuguese as secondary language at Intermediate level/ a six month course in Portuguese language/ Primairo Grau. (2) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: (i) Experience in transcription of old records in Portuguese/ Modi (Marathi) script. (ii) Knowledge of Marathi.

- Two Tier Computer Based Test (CBT)

General Information/Instructions
- The candidates should carefully read the “Instructions” available on the Commission’s website before filling the application online.
- The cut-off date for determining the eligibility criteria towards educational qualifications, age limit, experience and any other documents shall be as on the last date of application.
- The date of examination will be intimated in due course through the website of the Commission and publication in the local daily only.
- The candidate must submit separate application for each post in the respective category, if eligible, even if CBT is common for more than one post.
- Other procedure in respect of selection, if necessary, will be followed in terms of O.M. No.1/6/83-PER(Vol.II)Pt.(a)/143 dated 14/01/2019 issued by the Government of Goa and as amended from time to time.
- As per Regulation 15 of the Goa Staff Selection Commission (Examinations, Selection of Candidates to the sub-ordinate services/posts and procedure of conduct of the business of the Commission) Regulations, 2023, the placement of the candidates in different departments shall be based on the decision of the Commission.
