Eligibility Criteria

• Essential Qualifications
• Postgraduate degree in Management / Entrepreneurship / Economics / Engineering / Technology / Computer Science / Computer Applications / Social Sciences or allied disciplines from a recognized university / institution with at least 60% marks
• Graduate degree in Management / Commerce / Economics / Engineering / Technology / Social Sciences or related with at least 60% marks
• Candidates with MBA / PGDM / Master’s degree with at least 60% marks will be preferred
• Desirable Skills
• Experience working with government missions / funded programs
• Understanding of startup ecosystems, MSMEs, and incubation processes
• Strong leadership, coordination, and reporting skills
• Familiarity with J&K startup / MSME context preferred
• Hands-on experience in:
• Program implementation
• Startup screening and mentoring coordination
• Event and outreach management
• Strong documentation, MIS, and reporting abilities
• Ability to work with startups, students, and government stakeholders
• Exposure in entrepreneurship, startups, and innovation
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to manage:
• Startup data
• Event logistics
• Outreach and documentation
• Proficiency in MS Office / digital tools
• Experience
• Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience, preferably:
• Startup incubation / acceleration
• Entrepreneurship development programs
• Innovation hubs / MSME support institutions
• Startup policy implementation / government projects
• Experience in managing teams, programs, and external stakeholders is essential
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferably in:
• Startup incubation / entrepreneurship programs
• MSME development projects
• Training, mentoring, or ecosystem coordination roles
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience OR
• Fresh postgraduates with:
• Internship / project exposure in startups, incubation centers, NGOs, or development programs

Salary/ Stipend

• Innovation Hub Manager: Rs. 65,000 per Month
• Innovation Hub Assistant Manager: Rs. 45,000 per Month
• Innovation Hub Associate: Rs. 35,000 per Month

General Information / Instructions

• Engagement shall be purely contractual, initially for one year, extendable based on performance and project continuation.
• The Age limit for all positions is 25-45 years as on the date of notification of Advertisement.
• Selected candidates must be willing to be posted at Jammu or Srinagar campuses
• Interested candidates may apply online latest by 27th January 2026 furnishing full particulars of qualifications and experience.

• The Institute reserves the right to reject/accept any candidature without assigning any reason.
• Mere fulfilling of the minimum qualifications and experience will not confer any right to the candidates for being called for interview/written/ skills test or/and for his/her selection.
• Selected candidates should be prepared to take up the assignment immediately.
• These positions are on purely contractual basis and co-terminus with the project. The project staff has no right to claim for a regular position in the Institute.
• No other benefits and perks are admissible for the positions.

• Appointments will be governed by the relevant service rules and regulations of the Institute as amended from time to time.
