Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Ph.D. in appropriate branch /discipline and first class in the preceding degree with a very good academic record throughout.
- Essential Qualification: Further, the candidate applying for CSE should hold a B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D. in Computer Science or closely related CSE domains.
- Experience: Candidates with fresh Ph.D. degree may apply. Post Ph.D. experience is considered in form of relevant industrial/research/teaching (excluding the experience gained while pursuing Ph.D. degree).
Salary/ Stipend
- Starting Basic Pay Range Rs. 84,700/- to Rs.1,01,500/- (as per 7th CPC).
- Basic Pay will be fixed based on relevant Post Ph.D. experience.
Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026)
- Candidate's age should preferably be below 35 years for the post of Assistant Professor.

Selection Process
- Mere eligibility will not entitle any candidate for being called for an interview.
- Based on the shortlisting criteria, applications will be processed.
- Only the shortlisted applicants will be contacted through the emails provided by them in the application form.
- Depending on requirement, interview may be conducted in selected specializations only. However, exceptionally meritorious candidates in any area of specialization pertaining to the said specialization will also be considered.
- Applicants called for interview will be reimbursed to and fro travel expenses within India (Economy Class Air Fare through authorized agents).
- Candidates abroad (and candidates in India for exceptional reasons) who are unable to attend in-person will be interviewed by electronic mode/video conference etc. In such cases, the Institute may decide to offer a contract position initially.

- Recruitment policies for IITs as stipulated by the Government of India from time to time will be applicable.
- Reservation for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/EWS/PWD categories will be applicable as per the norms of the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India rules.
- The Institute reserves the right to fill or not to fill any or all the post(s) advertised without assigning any reason.
- The Institute has the right to set different as well as higher norms, while short-listing, considering the specific requirement of the schools.
- The Institute may consider candidates whose area of specialization and specific qualification lie outside those stated herein, provided these candidates have an outstanding record.
- The Institute reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates or interview to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualification, experience and other academic achievements higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.
- The Institute reserves the right to withdraw any advertised position(s) at any time without assigning any reason.
- The invitation to candidate for interview merely indicates that it is felt that he/she with others may be suitable for the post and conveys no assurance whatsoever that he/she will be recommended or selected or his/her conditions specified in the application will be accepted.
- No correspondence whatsoever will be entertained from candidates regarding reason for not being called for presentation/interview/outcome of interview.
