Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Minimum educational qualification for all posts of Anganwadi Worker is Intermediate or equivalent and maximum educational qualification is Postgraduate on the basis of which merit will be prepared.
Age Limit (as on 01-01-2026)
- The applicant's age as on 01 January 2026 should be minimum 18 years and maximum age not more than 35 years.
- In relation to age, the date of birth recorded in the High School mark sheet and certificate will be valid.
- In addition to the above, no separate age limit relaxation will be provided to any candidates of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Class and General Caste.

Selection Process
- The entire selection process and all rules and conditions of the advertised posts will be under the procedure described in the Government Order number-1/1092245/2025/3313/58-1-2025 (1917687) dated 17.09.2025.
- Preference in selection will be given to widows/divorced/abandoned women living below the poverty line as per the arrangement contained in the Government Order.
- For widow, husband's death certificate issued by Gram Panchayat Officer/concerned Nagar Panchayat/Municipal Council/Municipal Corporation and certified copy of family register will be valid.
- For divorced/abandoned, only the order issued by the Hon'ble Court will be valid.
General Information / Instructions
- Only female candidates will be eligible for the advertised posts.
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of the ward (urban)/gram panchayat of the vacant post.
- Online applications for the advertised posts will be accepted only on the departmental website upanganwadibharti.in within the prescribed format time period. Offline application forms will not be valid/accepted in any case.
- If there is any error in online application or any facts/data/marks/full marks of educational records are found altered or forged, the candidature will be cancelled, for which the candidate herself will be responsible.
- The application form must be filled online carefully on the format available on the departmental website. The applicant must upload the latest photo, signature and self-attested copies of all documents, which must be clear and readable, as mentioned in their online form.
- The last date for online application is 02.02.2026 midnight 12:00.
- For income certificate, caste certificate and residence certificate, only online certificates issued at the level of Sub Divisional Magistrate/Tehsildar will be valid, which can be verified on the online e-District portal.

- In relation to income certificate, compliance will be made with the income limit prescribed for poverty line in rural and urban areas by the Government Order number 22/2015/2123/26-2-2015 dated 14 September 2015 (as amended) of Social Welfare Section-2 U.P. Government.
- In relation to income certificate, income certificates issued from the competent level in accordance with the Government Order number- 3959/1-9-11-raj-9 dated 30.09.2011 (as amended) issued by the Revenue Section-9 of Uttar Pradesh Government will be valid, which can be verified online. In this regard, if any separate Government Order is issued by the Revenue Department in the future, action will be taken according to the provisions mentioned in the new Government Order.
- Appointment of two women from the same family will not be made on the posts of Anganwadi Worker and Assistant at one Anganwadi Center.
- If the selected Anganwadi Worker is already elected on the post of Gram Sabha Member, Gram Pradhan, Kshetra Panchayat Member, Kshetra Panchayat President, Nagar Palika Member and Councilor/Councillor and Mayor etc., then the said selected Anganwadi Worker will have to give resignation before contributing to the post of worker, otherwise in that situation her selection process will be cancelled. The responsibility for this will be of the candidate.
