Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualifications:
- Medical Qualification: M.B.B.S. degree recognized by the Medical Council of India
- Medical Council Registration: Must be registered with Maharashtra Medical Council
- Medical Experience: Either of the following:
- Minimum 6 months experience as House Post (Resident Doctor) in a recognized hospital, OR
- Minimum 1 year experience in Residency Post as residential medical officer
- Language Qualification: Medium/Higher Secondary certificate or equivalent with minimum 100% Marathi subject marks passed
- Computer Knowledge: DOEACC/Society-certified computer knowledge with:
- CCC (Course on Computer Concepts) exam at 'O' level or 'A' level or 'B' level or 'K' level passed, OR
- Equivalent qualification obtained
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 38 years (as on the last date of application - 18-02-2026)
- Age Relaxation: As per government rules for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PwBD)
Job Description
The Assistant Medical Officer will be responsible for:
- Providing medical services in MCGM hospitals and health centers
- Conducting examinations and providing medical treatment to patients
- Assisting senior medical officers and consultants
- Maintaining medical records and documentation
- Participating in emergency and casualty services
- Contributing to preventive and primary health care programs
- Performing other duties as assigned by the administration
