- Qualifications: Ph.D degree in Physics / Chemistry and First Class or equivalent at either Bachelor's or Master's level in Physics / Chemistry.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching/research/industry out of which at least 3 years shall be at a post equivalent to that of an Associate Professor.

General Information / Instructions
- Note: Degrees or Diplomas obtained from institutions recognized by UGC and AICTE through Distance Mode/Open University for Humanities and Science subjects will be valid.
- For previous service and experience, the provisions and conditions of All India Council for Technical Education Regulation, 2019 paragraph-2.25 will apply.
- In case of any difference in educational qualification, the qualification described in English will be valid.
- The age of interested candidates/applicants as on 01.08.2026 should be minimum 32 years and there is no maximum age limit. The retirement age is fixed at 65 years.
- Selection will be based on the following details, for which the weightage scheme will be as follows.
- For reservation, if not marked in the online application form, the benefit of reservation will not be given and the benefit of reservation will be as per the prevailing reservation rules of the state government and on the basis of the certificate issued by the competent officer of the state government.
- The benefit of reservation will be given only to the original residents of Bihar.
- For Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates, it will be mandatory to submit the following certificates.
- For Backward Class and Extremely Backward Class candidates, it will be mandatory to submit non-creamy layer certificate.
- For the reservation of economically weaker section as per the light of letter no.12123 dated 23.06.2023 of Bihar General Administration Department.
- For benchmark disabled persons, horizontal reservation will be admissible only to the original residents of Bihar State.
- It is mandatory for candidates claiming multiple disabilities to attach a copy of the certificate issued in the prescribed form Form VI (Form VI) in The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Rules, 2017, otherwise the benefit of reservation on the basis of multiple disabilities will not be given.
- No amendment can be made in the process of appointment/promotion/enrollment in between the process as per the light of General Administration Department letter no.16144 dated 28.11.2012.
- All the above reservation related certificates will be required to be submitted in original at the time of document verification/interview in the Commission office. The benefit of reservation will not be given if not submitted.
- All desired certificates must be issued by the date of filling online application for this advertised post - 06.03.2026.
- If the last date of filling application is extended as per the situation, then no last date related to qualification will be extended or affected.
- Any concession mentioned in the advertisement in any type of information/condition/information mentioned in the advertisement will be final in form.

- Certificate or Diploma obtained from institutions recognized by UGC and AICTE through Distance Mode/Open University for science subjects.
- Certificate regarding the formula for converting CGPA and grade to percentage/marks in the year/session in which the candidate has passed Bachelor's and Master's degree as per the rules of the board/university.
- Certificate as per paragraph-3 (experience) of the advertisement and paragraph-5 (weightage) issued by the appointing authority as per the regulation of All India Technical Education Council.
- For Backward Class/Extremely Backward Class candidates, non-creamy layer certificate (for female candidates, non-creamy layer certificate issued in the name and address of father).
- For Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates, caste and permanent residence certificate (for female candidates, caste and permanent residence certificate issued in the name and address of father).
- For candidates claiming Economically Weaker Section (EWS), certificate related to the same issued by the competent authority in the prescribed form as per the light of notification no.2622 dated 26.02.2019 of Bihar Government.
- In case of claiming disability, valid certificate issued by the competent authority in the prescribed form.
- Certificate related to ex-servicemen for claiming relaxation in that limit.
- No Objection Certificate issued by the competent authority if appointed to any post under the Central Government, Bihar Government or any other state government.
- Identity card (with photo), as claimed in the application.
- 4 (four) recent passport size photos.
- Copy of the online application filled for the written examination.
- It will be mandatory to submit the original of the above certificates at the time of document verification. If any candidate submits incomplete/erroneous certificate at the time of document verification/interview, then one final opportunity (maximum one week) to rectify the error will be given and conditional permission to participate in the interview will be given. If the candidate is not able to submit the correct certificate even after the specified period, the candidature will be cancelled.
- Fee:- As per the light of resolution of General Administration Department, Bihar-15568, dated-21.08.2025, examination fee for each candidate - 100/- (one hundred rupees).
- The candidate will have to pay the charge fixed by different banks in addition to the above examination fee, which will be taken by the bank as bank charge in the course of online payment.
- Note:- For those candidates who have not marked Aadhaar Number as identity card in the online application, they will have to pay Biometric fee of 200/- (two hundred) rupees additional fee.
