  • Psychiatrist

    • MBBS/Dental/AYUSH/Nursing graduate with Masters in Hospital Administration/Health Management (MHA Full-time or equivalent).
    • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Public Health/Hospital Administration.
    • Desired: Training and experience in recognized quality systems (e.g., NABH/ISO 9001-2008/Six Sigma/Kaizen); prior work in health quality preferred.
  • Blood Bank Laboratory Technician
    • 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biological Science before Diploma/Degree.
    • DMLT/DLT OR BMLT OR M.Sc in MLT / PGDMLT from Govt recognized University/Institution.
    • Working knowledge of computer.
    • Experience: Six months (Degree/PG) or one year (Diploma) in blood testing/blood component preparation in licensed Blood Bank.

Salary/Stipend

  • Specialist Medical Officers (G & O, Pediatrician, Psychiatrist PG Degree): Rs. 70,000/- per month (with increment as per NHM Guidelines; Psychiatrist Diploma: Rs. 65,000/-).
  • Medical Officer (GDMO/XVFC): Rs. 60,000/- per month (increment as per NHM Guidelines).
  • Part-time Specialist MOs (Medicine, Paediatrics, G & O, Ophthalmology): Rs. 3,000/- per day (minimum 3 hours per day; specified days per week).
  • Community Health Assistant (Urban): Rs. 13,000/- per month *(increment as per NHM Guidelines).
  • Multi Rehabilitation Worker: Rs. 18,000/- per month *(increment as per NHM Guidelines).
  • District Manager (Public Health): Rs. 40,000/- per month *(increment as per NHM Guidelines).
  • Blood Bank Laboratory Technician: Rs. 22,000/- per month *(increment as per NHM Guidelines).

  • New NHM employees joining between 29.12.2020 and 30.09.2024 are not entitled to annual increment for financial years 2022–23, 2023–24 and 2024–25; increment applicable from 2025–26 as per referenced addendum.

  • Engagement is purely contractual under NHM & AYUSH Mission, Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal.
