Eligibility Criteria

  • Pharmaceutical Chemistry/Analysis: First Class in B. Pharm as well as in Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry/Analysis with Ph. D degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Minimum one year of teaching experience from Institute of National/International repute.
  • Pharmacology: First Class in B. Pharm as well as in Master's degree in Pharmacology /Pharmacology & Toxicology with Ph. D degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Minimum one year of teaching experience from Institute of National/International repute.
  • Drug Regulatory Affairs: Basic degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharm) and Master's degree in Pharmaceutics / Regulatory Affairs along with Ph.D. degree in the appropriate branch of specialization in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Minimum one-year experience in Teaching/Industry/Research at the level of Lecturer or equivalent in Drug Regulatory Affairs. Candidates from Industry/ Profession with First Class Master's degree in Pharmaceutics / Regulatory Affairs and professional work which is significant and can be recognized as equivalent to Ph. D degree and with 5 years' experience would also be eligible. Desirable: Research Publications in the relevant field.
  • Pharmaceutical Biotechnology: Basic degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharm) and Master's degree in Pharm. Biotech/Pharmaceutics/IP/QA/RA/Pharm. Tech along with Ph.D. degree in the appropriate branch of specialization in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Minimum one-year experience in Teaching/Industry/Research at the level of Lecturer or equivalent in Pharm. Biotech. Candidates with 5 years significant experience from Industry/ Profession and Professional work with first class Master's Degree in pharm. Biotech will be considered in lieu of Ph.D. Desirable: Research Publications in the relevant field
  • Ayurvedic Pharmacy: First Class Bachelor's Degree in Science/ Ayurveda/ Pharma or equivalent. First Class Post Graduate Master's Degree in Ayurveda or allied subject with Ph. D in Ayurveda or allied subjects. Minimum One year of teaching experience from institute of National/ International repute. Subject Preference: Dravyaguna Vigyan, Bhaishajya Kalpana, Rasa Shastra
  • Pharmacognosy: First Class in B. Pharm as well as in Master's degree in Pharmacy (M.Pharm) in appropriate branch of specialization in pharmacy with Ph. D degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Minimum one year of teaching experience from Institute of National/International repute.
  • Executive M. Pharm: Basic degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharm) and Master's degree in Pharmaceutics / Regulatory Affairs along with Ph.D. degree in the appropriate branch of specialization in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Minimum three-year experience in Teaching/Industry/Research at the level of Lecturer or equivalent in Drug Regulatory Affairs. Candidates from Industry/ Profession with First Class Master's degree in Pharmaceutics / Regulatory Affairs and professional work which is significant and can be recognized as equivalent to Ph. D degree and with 5 years' experience would also be eligible. Desirable: Research Publications in the relevant field.
  • BBA- Health Care: First class Bachelor's Degree in any discipline preferably in Pharmacy. First Class Post Graduate Master's Degree like M.D./MDH or other equivalent such as Post Graduate Master's Degree in Business Administration/ Management/ PGDM/ CA/ Pharmaceutical Management or equivalent with Ph.D. in relevant field. Minimum one year teaching experience from Institute of National/International repute. Desirable Qualification: Ph.D in subjects related to Pharmaceutical Management. Subject Preference: Operation research/ research methodology.
  • MBA-International Trade Management: First Class Bachelor's Degree in any discipline preferably in Pharmacy. Master's Degree in Business Administration OR Management/PGDM/CA/Pharmaceutical Management with First Class. Minimum one year teaching experience from Institute of National/International repute. Desirable Qualification: Ph. D in subjects related to Pharmaceutical Management. Subject Preference: Insurance and Risk Management in Foreign Trade (Specialized in Finance/ Insurance sector)
  • Computer Applications: A Master's degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in Computer Applications from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. Desirable Qualification: Ph.D. desirable, Minimum one year teaching experience from Institute of National/International repute.
  • Environmental Sciences: A Master's degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET. Minimum one year of teaching experience from Institute of National/International repute.

Salary/ Stipend

  • Consolidated Salary for Faculty on Short Term Appointment is Rs.89,435/- (not eligible for any other allowance, pension, and gratuity etc).
  • The Honorarium for Guest Faculty will be as per UGC guidelines (No. F. 25-1/2018(PS/MISC.) dated 28.01.2019 i.e. Rs.1500/- per lecture subject to a maximum of Rs.50,000/- per month. (not eligible for any other allowance, pension, gratuity and leave etc).

  • The selection process consists of Presentation/Personal Interview or both.

General Information / Instructions

  1. Candidates of only Indian Nationality can apply for these posts.
  2. A) Upper age limit for Faculty on Short Term Appointment for UR category: 40 years (Age relaxation will be governed as per GNCTD norms for reserved categories) B) Guidelines relating to recruitment rules shall be followed as per DPSRU Act, 2008 and Statutes as amended from time to time. Reservation policy for SC/ST/OBC (NCL) and EWS shall be as per GNCTD Norms. C) Upper age limit for Guest faculty is 69 years subject to maximum engagement of 70 years of age.
  3. Age will be reckoned on the date of walk-in interview.

  9. No TA/DA and accommodation shall be provided for attending the Presentation/Personal Interview.
  10. Mode of Selection: The selection process consists of Presentation/Personal Interview or both. Candidates are advised to visit the Website https://dpsru.edu.in/ regularly. A Candidate's admission to the Presentation/Personal Interview and subsequent process is strictly provisional. DPSRU would be free to reject any application, at any stage of the process, cancel the candidature of the candidate in case it is detected at any stage that a candidate does not fulfill the eligibility norms and/or that he/she has furnished any incorrect/false information/Certificate/documents or has suppressed any material fact (s). If any of these shortcomings is/are detected after appointment in the DPSRU, their services are liable to be summarily terminated. In case of any dispute the decision of competent authority will be final.
  11. The University reserves the right to: (a) Withdraw the advertisement either partly or wholly at any time without assigning any reason to this effect (b) Fill or not to fill up the post advertised for any reasons whatsoever (c) Increase/Decrease the number of posts without giving any reason. (d) Any addition/deletion and changes in matter of terms and conditions given in this notification of recruitment (e) Hold Presentation and/or Interview for selection, whenever circumstances so warrant.
  12. In case of any corrigendum/addendum pertaining to this advertisement, the same shall be published in the University's website only. Accordingly, all applicants in their own interests are advised to visit regularly the University's Website.
  13. Certificate in support of Experience should be in proper format i.e., it should be on the organization letter head bearing the date of issue, specific period of work (in DD/MM/YY) Name, Designation and Signature of the Administration Authorities alongwith.
  14. No person shall be recruited unless he/she in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect that is likely to interfere with the efficient performance of his/her official duties.
  15. After joining the service of the DPSRU, the persons will have to abide by the Rules, Regulations, Ordinances, Statutes and Act of the DPSRU applicable from time to time. He / She may be assigned any duty within or outside the DPSRU depending upon the exigency of the work.
  16. Candidates who have obtained degrees/diplomas/certificates for various courses from any Institution declared fake / de-recognized by the UGC/AICTE/PCI shall not be eligible for being considered for recruitment to the post advertised.
  17. In case any dispute arises on account of interpretation of clauses in any version of this Advertisement other than English, the English version available on the DPSRU Website shall prevail.
  18. Any dispute arising out of this Advertisement including the recruitment process shall be subject to the sole jurisdiction of the Courts situated at Delhi only.
  19. CANVASSING IN ANY FORM MAY LEAD TO DISQUALIFICATION OF THE CANDIDATURE.
  20. Candidates shall have to produce original testimonials at the time of Presentation/Interview, failing which the Presentation/Interview will not be allowed. The original Certificates/Degrees, etc., of the candidate(s) are subject to verification before joining, in case of selection.
  21. Selected candidates have to join the post immediately (within 7 days on receipt of offer of appointment). No extension of joining time is permitted.
