Educational Qualification:

  • Deputy Manager (CSR) - Code 25-26/15/A1: Post Graduate (Full Time) in Social Work/Sociology/Economics/Social Sciences with minimum 65% marks. Experience: 4 years in Government or established industry managing community projects/CSR initiatives.
  • Deputy Manager (CSR) - Code 25-26/15/A2: MBA (except obtained through correspondence) with Specialization in HR/Social Welfare/Sustainability Management with minimum 65% marks. Experience: 4 years in managing community projects/CSR initiatives.
  • Deputy Manager (Corporate Planning) - Code 25-26/15/B1: Engineering Graduates with MBA (except obtained through correspondence) with minimum 65% marks. Experience: 4 years in corporate planning or project management or marketing in the energy Sector.
  • Deputy Manager (Corporate Planning) - Code 25-26/15/B2: Post Graduate in Economics/Business Economics/Commerce with MBA (except obtained through correspondence) with minimum 65% marks. Experience: 4 years in corporate planning or project management or marketing in the energy Sector.
  • Engineer (Projects) - Code 25-26/15/C: BE/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical/Instrumentation with minimum 65% marks. Experience: Minimum 1 year relevant Post Qualification experience.
  • Officer (Library) - Code 25-26/15/D1: B.Sc. (Physical Science) and Post Graduate Degree in Library Science or equivalent. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience of working in a Library, preferably in a library attached to a PSU/Govt. Department/large corporate house/company/institution/college with knowledge on computers.
  • Deputy Manager (Library) - Code 25-26/15/D2: B.Sc. (Physical Science) and Post Graduate Degree in Library Science or equivalent. Experience: Minimum 9 years of experience of working in a Library, preferably in a library attached to a PSU/Govt. Department/large corporate house/company/institution/college with knowledge on computers.
  • Officer (Finance) - Code 25-26/15/E: Graduate in any discipline with CA/CWA (with minimum 55% marks). Experience: Minimum 1 year relevant Post Qualification experience.
  • Officer (Rajbhasha) - Code 25-26/15/F: Master's degree from a recognized University in Hindi with English as a main subject at the degree level OR Master's degree in English with Hindi as the main subject at the degree level OR Master's degree in any discipline with Hindi and English as main subjects at degree level. Experience: 5 years relevant experience in implementation of the Official Language Policy including translation work.
  • Assistant-HR - Code 25-26/15/G: Full Time Graduate in any discipline other than Fine arts with minimum 60% marks. Candidate with Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management/Industrial Relations/Labour Laws/HRD shall be preferred. Experience: Minimum 9 years relevant Post Qualification experience in Personnel & General Administrative functions.
  • Junior Assistant-HR - Code 25-26/15/H: Full Time Graduate in any discipline other than Fine arts with minimum 60% marks. Candidate with Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management/Industrial Relations/Labour Laws/HRD shall be preferred. Experience: Minimum 5 years relevant Post Qualification experience in Personnel & General Administrative functions.

Essential Qualifications:

  • The specified qualification should have been acquired in minimum number of years except in case of CA/CWA
  • Candidates are required to specify the percentage marks of the qualification
  • Wherever CGPA/OGPA/CPI or letter grade is awarded, equivalent percentage of marks should be indicated as per the norms adopted by University/Institute
  • The applicant should essentially have proficiency in computer

Desirable:

  • For CSR positions: Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), communication skills
  • For Corporate Planning: Analytical skills and macro understanding of the energy sector and economic development issues
  • For Rajbhasha: Knowledge of Official Language Act/Rules is essential, knowledge of local Indian language is desirable
  • For HR positions: Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management/Industrial Relations/Labour Laws/HRD

Salary/Stipend (as on 31.12.2025)

CTC (Cost to Company) calculated on basic pay at the lowest of the scale:

  • Deputy Manager: Pay Scale Rs.70,000-200,000 | Total CTC approximately Rs.23.41 Lakhs per annum
  • Engineer/Officer: Pay Scale Rs.60,000-180,000 | Total CTC approximately Rs.19.99 Lakhs per annum
  • Assistant: Pay Scale Rs.32,000-128,000 | Total CTC approximately Rs.10.50 Lakhs per annum
  • Junior Assistant: Pay Scale Rs.29,000-120,000 | Total CTC approximately Rs.9.56 Lakhs per annum

CTC Components:

  • CTC shall include Basic Pay, DA, HRA, Other Perks & Allowances, encashment of earned leaves and Retirement benefits as applicable
  • Post-Retirement Medical Coverage Scheme is applicable to candidates who are 45 years of age or below as on date on which they come on the regular rolls of the Company
  • However, this condition shall not be applicable in case of candidates who join after resigning from any CPSE, provided the total of past service in the CPSE and future service in the company till the date of normal retirement is 15 years or more

Age Relaxation:

  • The upper age limit mentioned includes age relaxation for Persons with Disability candidates
  • Further relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates
  • Relaxation of 3 years for Other Backward Classes (OBC – Non Creamy Layer)
  • Upper age limit is relaxable for Ex-Servicemen
  • Upper age limit is relaxable for Departmental candidates
  • Post-graduates in engineering (relevant to the post) will be given relaxation in experience by one year where minimum requirement is B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc. (Engg.)
  • Ph.D in Engineering (relevant to the post) will be given relaxation in experience by four years where minimum requirement is B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc. (Engg.)

Selection Process

  • The prescribed qualification/experience are the minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle a candidate for participating in the selection process
  • EIL may restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview/skill test by raising the percentage of marks obtained in qualifying examinations and/or relevance of experience required for the post
  • Only short-listed candidates will be informed for interview/skill test through email
  • For Deputy Manager, Engineer and Officer positions: Selection will be through Interview at New Delhi/Gurugram or through video conferencing
  • For Assistant-HR and Junior Assistant-HR positions: Selection will be through Skill Test
  • Venue/Mode of interview/skill test shall be intimated separately to the shortlisted candidates
  • Screening and selection will be based on the details provided in the on-line application form

General Information/Instructions

  • This is a Special Recruitment Drive for Persons with Disabilities
  • Persons with 40% or more permanent nature of disability only are eligible to apply
  • If sufficient number of applicants of the prescribed category do not apply or not fulfil the laid down criteria then applicants of all other categories of PwDs can be considered for the same post
  • A candidate can apply for one position only in the subject advertisement. In case of multiple applications, the latest one shall be considered as final
  • The cut-off date for educational qualification, required experience and upper age is 31.12.2025
  • Candidates applying against OBC-NCL category should have a valid caste certificate valid as on 31.12.2025
  • List of castes included in the Central list of OBC as given in the official website of National Commission for Backward Classes only will be considered
  • Rounding off of marks is not allowed. Fill exact percentage upto two decimal places
  • The e-mail address specified in the application should be valid/functional for at least 24 months from the date of the submission of application
  • Any change in advertisement (including extension of the last date) shall be published in EIL's website only
  • Applications once submitted cannot be withdrawn
  • Court of jurisdiction for any dispute will be at Delhi
  • EIL reserves the right to cancel the advertisement and/or the selection process without assigning any reason

Travel Allowance:

  • Outstation Candidates called for skill test for Assistant/Junior Assistant shall be entitled to IInd sleeper rail fare
  • Outstation Candidates called for interview for Officer/Engineer & Deputy Manager shall be entitled to IInd AC sleeper rail fare
  • Travel allowance from mailing address to venue of interview/skill test by shortest route as per rules

For PSU/Govt. Employees:

  • Candidates working in PSU/Govt. Sector/Govt. Institution shall be required to forward their application through proper channel or submit NOC from their present employer at the time of interview/skill test
  • Submission of NOC is applicable also for candidates working on Contractual/Fixed Term Basis
  • In case NOC is not applicable as per Company Policy, they shall produce a Certificate/Letter to that effect from their present employer

  • Persons with Disability Certificate with photograph issued by competent authority satisfying minimum 40% disability
