Assistant Registrar: Master's degree with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade point average.
Technical Assistant (Chemistry): Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Bachelor's degree with Chemistry as main subject with at least 60 % of marks or its equivalent CGPA.
Technical Assistant (CSE): Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering with at least 60 % of marks or its equivalent CGPA.
Technical Assistant (Physics): Bachelor's degree in Physics with at least 60 % of marks or its equivalent CGPA.
Technical Assistant (Mechanical): 3-year Diploma in Mechanical, Production or Manufacturing Engineering with at least 60 % of marks or its equivalent CGPA with relevant experience of Two years after the diploma. OR Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production or Mechanical Engineering with at least 60 % of marks or its equivalent CGPA.
Assistant Registrar: 6 years relevant experience in Pay Level 06 and above or equivalent OR 3 years in Pay Level 07 and above or equivalent. Relevant experience in one or more of the following areas: Legal, Finance and Accounts, Establishment, Materials Management, Academics, Student Welfare, R&D, Secretarial Services, Hostel Management etc.
Assistant Registrar: 1. Familiarity and knowledge with working procedures of a higher technological/educational Institution like IITs/CFTIs/IISERs/IISc/NITs and similar Central Government Institutions/Organizations. 2. Good written and verbal communication skills and working experience in computerized environment.
Salary/ Stipend
Other allowances on Basic Pay shall be paid as per Government of India rates as applicable to IIT Goa.
NPS Contribution, Medical facility to employees and dependents, LTC and Children Education Allowance are also admissible, as per Institute/Government of India rules as applicable from time to time.

Age relaxation as per Govt of India norms for reserved category applicants is applicable only if the vacancy(s) of the post is reserved for that particular category.
Age relaxation to PwBD applicants (subject to a maximum 56 years of age) & Ex-servicemen is applicable as per rules.
The age limit shall be 57 years across all the cadres for regular employees of the Institute.
Relaxation up to a maximum of 57 years of age shall be given for applicants working in the Institute on a non-regular/contract basis, provided they have served the Institute for at least 05 years.

Selection Process
For Pay Level 10 (Group A), a Written Test / any other evaluation process as deemed fit may be conducted which will be qualifying in nature. Applicants who qualifies shall be called for interview. The final selection will be based on the performance in the interview only
For Pay Level 04 (Group C), the selection will be based on the written test, as per recruitment rules. Written test means Written Test / Computer Based Test and/or Trade Test and/or any other mode of test, as deemed fit.
The online applications received in response to this advertisement shall be scrutinized as per the eligibility criteria detailed in the advertisement. Merely fulfilling the eligibility criteria does not entitle an applicants to be called for selection process. In case the number of applications received is large, Institute reserves to formulate additional criteria for shortlisting, based on academic performance and/ or levels/area/years of experience of the applicants or any other criteria as deemed fit. Only shortlisted applicants will be called for selection process. The decision of the Institute in this regard shall be final.
The appointment of the selected applicants is subject to being found medically fit as per the requirement of the Institute.
The Institute shall verify the antecedents and documents submitted by an applicant during the tenure of his/her service. In case, it is detected that the documents submitted by the applicants are not genuine or the applicant has a clandestine antecedents/background and has suppressed the said information, then his/her service shall be terminated and legal action may be initiated against such applicants/employees.
Decision of the Institute in all matters relating to the eligibility of the applicant, skill/written test and selection shall be final and binding on all the applicants. No correspondence or personal inquiries shall be entertained.
In case of any dispute/ambiguity that may occur in the process of selection, the decision of the Institute shall be final.
For Group A post, the applicants called for interview shall be paid to & fro 3rd AC train fare for the shortest route on production of the tickets. For all other posts outstation SC/ST/PwD applicants attending the written test shall be paid to & fro sleeper class train fare by shortest route subject to production of tickets and category certificate. SC/ST applicants already working in Central/State Government organizations, Autonomous Body, Public Sector Units etc. service are not admissible for travelling allowance (TA).
General Information / Instructions
All positions carry a probation period of one year.
Applicants are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess the minimum essential qualification and experience (if any) laid down in the advertisement. Applicants possessing the requisite qualification and experience may apply online only.
