Eligibility Criteria
Medical officer (Ayurveda):
- Essential:
- 1) Bachelor of Ayurveda medicine & surgery (B.A.M.S.) from recognized University.
- 2) Minimum 2 years Clinical Experience of Panchakarma or working in Ayurvedic - clinic/Govt Hospitals/ private Hospitals.
- Desirable:
- 1) PG degree in Panchakarma.
- 2) The person will have to travel extensively to different parts of the state.
- 3) Knowledge of Computer.
Panchakarma Therapist:
- Essential:
- 1. Minimum Xth Passed recognized by Central/ State Board.
- 2. Minimum 6 months certificate course in Panchakarma from recognized Central/State Government Institution.
- Desirable:
- 1. At least one year experience as Panchakarma Therapist.
- 2. Knowledge of Computer.
Pharmacist:
- Essential:
- 1. B.Pharm/D.Pharm (AYUSH) OR B.Pharm/D.Pharm.
- Desirable:
- 1. Minimum six months experience.
- 2. Knowledge of Computer.
Yoga Instructor (full time):
- Essential:
- 1. XIIth Passed.
- 2. A degree or diploma from recognized state Govt. or central government approved institutes., included in the Yoga/ Yogic science (Min. 6 months) .
- Desirable:
- 1. Experience in yoga teacher/demonstrator minimum for six months.
- 2. Knowledge of Computer.
Multi-Purpose Worker (MPW):
- Essential:
- 1. HSSC passed from recognized approved state/central institute
- 2. One and half year training course in Multipurpose Health Worker or Completion of two years Auxiliary Nurse Midwife Training from recognized state Govt. or central government approved institutes.
- Desirable:
- 1. Experience in any Public Health Programmes or Trainings in Public Health.
- 2. Knowledge of Computer.
Yoga Instructor (Part Time):
- Essential:
- 1. XIIth Passed from recognized approved state/central institute
- 2. A degree or diploma from recognized state Govt. or central government approved institutes., included in the Yoga/ Yogic science (Min. 6 months) .
- Desirable:
- 1. Experience in yoga teacher/demonstrator minimum for six months.
- 2. Computer Knowledge.
Salary/ Stipend
- Medical officer (Ayurveda): Rs.40,000/- (Rs.25,000/- fixed) + Rs.15,000/- (PLI)
- Panchakarma Therapist: Rs.25,000/- Rs.20,000/- (fixed) + Rs.5,000/- (PLI)
- Pharmacist: Rs. 20,000/- Rs.15,000/- (fixed) + Rs.5,000/- (PLI)
- Yoga Instructor (full time): Rs. 28,000/- Rs.23,000/- (fixed) + Rs.5,000/- (PLI)
- Multi-Purpose Worker (MPW): Rs.15,000/- Rs.10,000/- (fixed) + Rs.5,000/- (PLI)
- Yoga Instructor (Part Time) at Sub Health Centres (AAM): Rs 250/- per session Maximum 10 session per month
- Yoga Instructor (Part Time) at Primary Health Centres (AAM): Rs 250/- per session. Maximum 32 session per month
Age Limit

General Information / Instructions
- The age limit for all these posts will be preferably not less than 18 years and not exceeding 40 years (relaxable as per instructions/orders issued by the Government from time to time) in case of SC/ST 5 years, OBC 3 years and PH 10 years are relaxable from the date of application).
- 15 years’ residence certificate is mandatory for all applicants with the exceptions mentioned below: a. The State Government employees who are working outside the State shall be exempted from producing15 year’s residence certificate for their children. b. A person whose marriage is registered in Goa, with the person having fifteen years’ residence in Goa, and both are residing in the State of Goa continuously for a period of 5 years. c. Ex-service men/women and their spouse and children, who are residing in Goa for the last two years after discharge/release/ retirement from the armed forces.
- Knowledge of Konkani is essential and Knowledge of Marathi is desirable.
- The selected candidate will be stationed in different parts of the State.
- The selected candidate shall have no claim in future for absorption in any regular job in State Govt. Service.
- This is a National AYUSH Mission Programme and the jobs created will not be regularized.
- Applications without valid council registration will not be entertained for specified posts.
- Hard copies of the application and all documents should be produced at the time of Interview.
- NAM-Goa reserves the right to modify or amend the terms and conditions or place of posting of the vacancy as per programme requirements at any stage without prior notice. Applications may be rejected at the discretion of the selection committee without providing any reason.
