Eligibility Criteria
Finance and Accounts Officer
Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed.
Nine years of experience as Assistant Professor in Academic Level 10 and above with experience in educational administration OR Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education OR Five years of accounts cadre experience as an Accounts Officer (Class-I) or equivalent post.
A certificate of basic knowledge of computer applications from any recognized institute as per Government of Gujarat resolutions (CRR-10-2007-120320-GS dated 13/08/2008 and 18/03/2016).
Maximum age limit: 45 years (with applicable age relaxation as per Government of Gujarat rules).
Law Officer
LL.B from recognized Indian University/Institution with at least 7 years’ experience of law practice in a court of law in civil/criminal/service matters, duly certified.
LL.M from recognized Indian University/Institution with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade point in the grade point scale.
A certificate of basic knowledge of computer applications from any recognized institute as per Government resolutions cited.
Age limit: 42 years (upper age as stated; relaxation as per Government of Gujarat rules).
Salary/Stipend
Finance and Accounts Officer: Pay Level 11 in Pay Matrix, ₹67,700 to ₹2,08,700 per month as per 7th CPC.
Law Officer: Pay Level 10 in Pay Matrix, ₹56,100 to ₹1,77,500 per month as per 7th CPC.
All allowances, DA and other benefits will be as per Government of Gujarat and University rules applicable to these pay levels.

Finance and Accounts Officer: Maximum 45 years; upper age limit counted as on the last date of submission of online application, with relaxation as per existing Government of Gujarat rules.

Selection Process
The University reserves the right to shortlist candidates based on merit, aptitude test, written test or any other method for inviting candidates for interview.
The decision of Bhakta Kavi Narsinh Mehta University regarding the process of selection shall be final and binding.
Candidates must produce original testimonials, certificates and other documents at the time of interview, if called.
No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending written test/interview.

Candidates should possess the required educational qualifications by the last date of online submission; no updates/additions will be entertained thereafter.

The University reserves the right to fill or not to fill any or all advertised vacancies and to amend or modify eligibility criteria, experience and other provisions as per Government of Gujarat rules, Gujarat Public Universities Act-2023 and Gujarat Public Universities Uniform Statutes-2024.
Experience as Daily Wager, Trainee, Honorary, Adhoc and Visiting Faculty shall not be considered as experience.
