Eligibility Criteria

• Executive Director (Operations & Technical): Graduate in Engineering with good academic record from a recognized university/institution OR Certificate of Competency as Master (FG) / Dredge Master Grade-I / MEO Class-I / Dredge Engineer Grade-I. A management degree from a reputed institution is an added advantage.
• Executive Director (Finance): Candidate must be a qualified CA or CMA. A management degree from a reputed institution is an added advantage.
• Common (External candidates): Minimum 25 years post-qualification experience.
• Private sector candidates: Out of 25 years, at least 5 years’ experience as Head of Department reporting to Director/MD/CEO in an organisation listed on stock exchange with minimum turnover of Rs. 800 Cr per annum and annual salary of Rs. 45 Lakhs or above.
• PSEs/Govt/Autonomous Body candidates: Currently working in E-7 grade or equivalent (IDA scale Rs. 1,00,000–2,60,000) with minimum 4 years in E-7 or equivalent; CDA equivalent is Level 13 (6th CPC: Rs. 37,400–67,000 with GP Rs. 8,700 / 7th CPC: Rs. 1,23,100–2,15,900).
• Internal candidates: At least 20 years post-qualification experience.
• Age on 12/12/2025: Minimum 45 years; Internal candidates must have at least 2 years residual service and others 3 years residual service w.r.t. superannuation at 60 years.
• Candidates must be employed in a regular capacity (not contractual/ad-hoc) on the date of application and interview.
• Candidates should possess strong expertise in Finance (for ED Finance) or sound Operations and Technical knowledge (for ED Operations & Technical), preferably with proven project management experience and exposure to Shipping, Ports and Dredging sectors.

Salary/Stipend

• Pay Scale: Rs. 1,20,000 – 2,80,000/- (IDA) with two additional increments.
• Total CTC: Approximately Rs. 45 Lakh – Rs. 50 Lakh per annum at the minimum of the scale.
• Other benefits: HRA, DA, perks and allowances, leased accommodation, company vehicle, medical benefits and superannuation benefits as per company rules.

Age Limit (as on 12-12-2025)

• Minimum age: 45 years for both Internal and Other category candidates.
• Internal candidates: Must have at least 2 years residual service as on date of vacancy with reference to superannuation at 60 years.
• Other candidates: Must have at least 3 years residual service as on date of vacancy with reference to superannuation at 60 years.

Selection Process

• Selection will be based on qualification, experience and a PowerPoint presentation by the candidate on achievements and future plan for the applied position, followed by an interview.
• Weightage: PowerPoint presentation (vision and future growth plan) – 50 marks; Interview – 50 marks.
• List of shortlisted candidates and selected candidates will be displayed on DCI website www.dredge-india.com.
• Shortlisting is based on information/declaration submitted online; candidature is liable to rejection at any stage if found ineligible or if information is incorrect.

• Candidates must ensure that they fulfil all eligibility criteria before applying; DCI may reject applications at any stage if eligibility is not met.

• Applicants must upload:
  • Write-up on significant contributions in present/past assignments and suitability for the post with a future strategy write-up for DCI.
  • Private sector candidates: Annual turnover figures of the organisation(s) for preceding three years certified by statutory auditors; evidence of stock-exchange listing; Form 16/ITR for last three years; evidence of reporting to Director/MD/CEO.
  • Govt/PSU/Autonomous body candidates: NOC from employer (along with application or at interview); complete experience certificates; self-attested age, qualification and experience documents.
  • Internal candidates: Hard copy of application and vigilance clearance to be submitted to Chairman, DCI.
• After online submission, candidates must download the system-generated application form with unique acknowledgement number for future reference.
• Scanned documents to upload include: DOB proof, qualification certificates (all mark sheets and degrees from matriculation onwards), complete experience certificates, fee payment proof, and any other required documents.
• Upload passport size colour photo (up to 50 KB), signature (up to 50 KB) and scanned certificates (up to 6 files, each up to 200 KB in JPG/PDF). Additional certificates may be merged into single PDFs within size limits.
• On successful submission, an acknowledgement number will be generated and must be quoted in all future correspondence.
