DCI Executive Director Recruitment 2026 Vacancy Details
Executive Director (Operations & Technical): Graduate in Engineering with good academic record from a recognized university/institution OR Certificate of Competency as Master (FG) / Dredge Master Grade-I / MEO Class-I / Dredge Engineer Grade-I. A management degree from a reputed institution is an added advantage.
Executive Director (Finance): Candidate must be a qualified CA or CMA. A management degree from a reputed institution is an added advantage.
Common (External candidates): Minimum 25 years post-qualification experience.
Private sector candidates: Out of 25 years, at least 5 years’ experience as Head of Department reporting to Director/MD/CEO in an organisation listed on stock exchange with minimum turnover of Rs. 800 Cr per annum and annual salary of Rs. 45 Lakhs or above.
PSEs/Govt/Autonomous Body candidates: Currently working in E-7 grade or equivalent (IDA scale Rs. 1,00,000–2,60,000) with minimum 4 years in E-7 or equivalent; CDA equivalent is Level 13 (6th CPC: Rs. 37,400–67,000 with GP Rs. 8,700 / 7th CPC: Rs. 1,23,100–2,15,900).
Internal candidates: At least 20 years post-qualification experience.
Age on 12/12/2025: Minimum 45 years; Internal candidates must have at least 2 years residual service and others 3 years residual service w.r.t. superannuation at 60 years.
Candidates must be employed in a regular capacity (not contractual/ad-hoc) on the date of application and interview.
Candidates should possess strong expertise in Finance (for ED Finance) or sound Operations and Technical knowledge (for ED Operations & Technical), preferably with proven project management experience and exposure to Shipping, Ports and Dredging sectors.
Salary/Stipend
Pay Scale: Rs. 1,20,000 – 2,80,000/- (IDA) with two additional increments.
Total CTC: Approximately Rs. 45 Lakh – Rs. 50 Lakh per annum at the minimum of the scale.

Selection Process
Selection will be based on qualification, experience and a PowerPoint presentation by the candidate on achievements and future plan for the applied position, followed by an interview.
