Eligibility Criteria
All candidates must have updated Medical Registration (NMC/State Medical Council) with all post MBBS/MD/MS qualifications.
Educational qualifications shall be as per National Medical Commission (NMC, erstwhile MCI) guidelines for the respective teaching faculty posts and Senior Residents.
Age limit as on 10/01/2026: Not exceeding 69 years; maximum tenure of engagement will be till 70 years of age for teaching faculty, whichever is earlier, subject to rules and satisfactory performance.
EWS candidates must submit an EWS Certificate as per Annexure‑I of Govt. of India, DOPT O.M. No. 36039/1/2019‑Estt (Res) dated 31.01.2019.
OBC (Non‑Creamy Layer) Certificate should be issued not prior to one year from the date of interview, in the format applicable for Central Government jobs, by an officer not below the rank of Sub‑Divisional Officer or equivalent authority.
Reservation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwD/Divyangjan) will be maintained as per Government of India norms; identified posts for PwD are specified for Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Physiology in the notification.
Salary/Stipend
Professor: Fixed basic pay of Rs. 1,23,100/- in Pay Level-13 (7th CPC, Cell 1) plus other allowances as admissible.
Associate Professor: Fixed basic pay of Rs. 78,800/- in Pay Level-12 (7th CPC, Cell 1) plus other allowances as admissible.
Assistant Professor: Fixed basic pay of Rs. 67,700/- in Pay Level-11 (7th CPC, Cell 1) plus other allowances as admissible.
Senior Residents: Fixed basic pay of Rs. 67,700/- in Pay Level-11 (7th CPC, Cell 1) plus other allowances as admissible.
In case of engagement of retired employees/pensioners, they may be allowed to draw total pay without any deduction, and can continue to draw pension and dearness relief during their period of contractual engagement, as it is not treated as re-employment under CCS (Fixation of Pay of Re‑employed Pensioner) Orders 1986.

General Information/Instructions
Vacancies are provisional and may increase or decrease as per actual requirement for teaching and patient care; the Competent Authority reserves the right to amend, cancel or change the advertisement wholly or partly without assigning reasons.
Reservation will be as per Government of India guidelines; EWS vacancies not filled due to non-availability of suitable EWS candidates will not be carried forward as backlog, as per DoPT FAQs (File No. 43011/11/2022‑Estt. (Res‑II) dated 19.02.2022).
In case of non-availability of reserved category candidates, vacancies may be filled for less than 45 days as de-reserved seats.
No private practice is allowed in any capacity after joining as teaching faculty at ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Indore.
All candidates must have updated medical registration with NMC or State Medical Council; those without updated registration must produce proof of having applied, failing which they may not be interviewed or their results may be withheld.
Candidates working in Govt/Autonomous/Statutory/Private institutions should preferably have “NOC” at the time of interview or submit proof of having applied for NOC.
