Essential Qualifications
- Medical Qualification: MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery)
- Specialization: AFIH (Associate Fellow in Industrial Health) from a recognized institution
- Registration: Must be registered with Medical Council of India (MCI) or respective State Medical Council
- Recognition: All qualifications must be recognized by appropriate statutory authority in India
- Educational Source: Only candidates who have passed the notified qualification with recognized branch combinations are eligible
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 32 years (as on 01-02-2026, the crucial date)
- Age Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC: Not applicable as this is an unreserved post. OBC/SC/ST candidates applying against UR vacancies will not get age relaxation.
- Age Relaxation for PwBD: 10 years relaxation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (maximum age limit up to 58 years as on 01-02-2026)
- Ex-Servicemen: Relaxation as per Government of India guidelines (maximum age limit up to 58 years)

Important Selection Terms
- Candidates from Central/State PSEs, Government departments should produce NOC at time of document verification, otherwise not permitted to attend interview
- Candidates must produce original documents at document verification stage
- SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen must upload valid certificates from competent authority
- Medical examination will be conducted as per NLCIL medical standards before final engagement
- Mere application submission does not give any right to be called for selection
Salary/ Stipend
- Consolidated Monthly Pay: Rs 60,000/-
- Provident Fund: As per applicable NLCIL rules and Acts
- Gratuity: As per applicable NLCIL rules and Acts
- Medical Benefits: Medical facilities as per NLCIL Medical Rules
- Leave Benefits: 12 days casual leave per year + other eligible leave as per company rules
- Travel Allowance: TA/DA reimbursement as per entitlement for official tours
- Residential Accommodation: Unfurnished accommodation at nominal rent as available, subject to availability. HRA payable if accommodation not provided.
Duration & Nature of Employment
- Employment Type: Fixed Term Employment (FTE) on contractual basis
- Duration: 3 Years from date of joining
- Location: NLC Tamilnadu Power Ltd (NTPL), Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu
- Status: Not a permanent or regular appointment
- Termination: NLCIL reserves right to terminate engagement with one-month notice or one-month consolidated salary without assigning any reason
- No Permanent Claim: Selected candidate will have no claim for permanent appointment or relaxation in future regular recruitments in NLCIL
