Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Good academic record as defined by the concerned University with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/Physically and Visually Handicapped) or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed at the Master’s degree in Statistics from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
- Essential Qualification: Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate should have either cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC; CSIR or should have obtained Ph.D. Degree in relevant subject.
Salary/ Stipend
- The above assignment will be on lecture basis with an honorarium of Rs. 1500/- per lecture with an upper limit of Rs. 50,000/- per month as per Panjab University rules.

- Interview (No separate interview letter shall be sent. All applicants are advised to bring their original certificates and other relevant documents for verification at the time of the interview).
General Information/ Instructions
- The guest faculty will have to be present in the department from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- The candidate shall have to give an undertaking that he/she will not draw any fellowship/stipend or any financial assistance from any agency till they are teaching in Department of Economics, Panjab University, Chandigarh as a Guest Faculty.
- No TA/DA will be paid.
- Late applications will not be considered and will stand rejected.
