Eligibility Criteria
- Only female candidates are eligible for the advertised posts.
- Minimum educational qualification for the post of Anganwadi Worker is Intermediate or equivalent.
- For the vacant posts of Anganwadi Worker, it is mandatory to be a resident of the same Gram Sabha/related Ward in urban areas where the post is vacant.
Age Limit (as on 01-01-2026)
- The minimum age of the applicant for the post of Anganwadi Worker will be 18 years and maximum age will be 35 years.
- On 01.01.2026, the age should not be less than 18 years and more than 35 years, in relation to age, only the date of birth mentioned in the High School mark sheet and certificate will be valid.

Selection Process
- In the selection, priority will be given to the resident widow woman/legally divorced/abandoned woman of the family living below the poverty line in the same Gram Sabha/Ward (in urban areas).
- For widow, the death certificate issued by the Gram Panchayat Officer/concerned municipal body and certified copy of family register will be valid. Legal orders issued by the Hon'ble Court will be valid in relation to divorced/abandoned.
- If no candidate from widow/divorced/abandoned living below the poverty line is found, priority will be given to the woman from the family living below the poverty line in the same Gram Sabha/Ward (in urban areas).
- If no candidate from widow/divorced/abandoned women living below the poverty line/woman from family living below the poverty line is found, priority will be given to the resident widow woman/abandoned/divorced woman above the poverty line in the same Gram Sabha/Ward (in urban areas).
- If no candidate as above is found, the woman from the family living above the poverty line resident in the same Gram Sabha/Ward (in urban areas) will be selected.
- The merit will be determined on the basis of marks obtained from Intermediate to Postgraduate.
General Information / Instructions
- The details of the above posts including Gram Sabha/Ward wise and reservation along with full details of eligibility are pasted on the notice board of the district Collectorate, Vikas Bhawan, Tehsil and Development Block etc. offices and are also uploaded on the departmental website http://upanganwadibharti.in.
- Regarding residence and caste certificate, only residence and caste certificates issued online with digital signature from Tehsil will be valid which can be verified online.
- Regarding income certificate, income certificates issued by the competent level in accordance with the Government Order No. 3959/1-9-11-Ra.9 dated 30.09.2021 (as amended) of the Revenue Section-9 of the Uttar Pradesh Government will be valid which can be verified online.
- Offline/postal applications will not be accepted.
- Note: The number of vacancies may increase or decrease.
How to Apply
- Application forms will be filled online carefully on the departmental website http://upanganwadibharti.in in the available format only.
- The applicant will upload self-attested copies of the documents, which are clean and readable, which will be mentioned by them in the online form.
- The last date for online application will be till 12 midnight on 11 February 2026.
- While applying, apply after intensive study of Government Order No.-2025/3313/58-1-2025 (1917687) dated 17 September 2025. The entire recruitment process will be completed on the basis of the said Government Order.
