Good computer skills and proficiency in MS Office and computer typing.
At least 3 years of experience working on gender-related issues in government/semi-government organizations or NGOs/institutions.
At least 3 years of experience working on women's issues.

Selection Process
- A maximum of 60 marks will be awarded based on the percentage obtained in the required minimum educational qualification, with a weightage of 100 marks.
2 marks will be awarded for each additional year of experience beyond the minimum required experience, up to a maximum of 18 marks.
Applicants who are residents of Chhattisgarh will be given 2 bonus marks.
A merit list will be prepared based on a total of 80 marks, derived from the above three points. 20 marks will be allocated for the walk-in interview/skill test.
General Information / Instructions
- For the Gender Specialist position, the candidate's age should not be less than 21 years and not more than 45 years as on 01.01.2026. In addition, local residents of Chhattisgarh will be eligible for age relaxation as per the instructions issued by the State Government from time to time, but the maximum age limit, including all relaxations, will not exceed 50 years.
Age verification/confirmation will be done on the basis of the birth certificate or the mark sheet of Class 8th or 10th, which mentions the date of birth. It will be mandatory to bring the original and self-attested copies of the documents at the time of document verification.
Being a resident of Chhattisgarh state is not mandatory for the Gender Specialist position, but applications from residents of Chhattisgarh state will be given priority. For this purpose, in the merit determination, local residents of Chhattisgarh will be given 02 bonus marks for these positions.
It will be mandatory to attach a permanent caste certificate issued by the competent authority for the reserved category.
Any candidate who has married before attaining the minimum age prescribed for marriage will not be eligible for appointment.
A candidate who has married a person who already has a living spouse will not be eligible.
The application form should be submitted in the prescribed format. The required certificates, mark sheets, and other documents attached with the application form must be attested/verified by a gazetted officer/self-attested.
Regarding experience, the candidate must attach a full-time work experience certificate issued by the employer of the concerned institution, certified/verified by a gazetted officer.
The decision of the appointing authority (District Collector) regarding the acceptance of the experience mentioned in the application will be final.
No certificate of voluntary service will be considered as experience.
Employees working in Government/Semi-Government/Non-Government Organizations/Institutions will be required to submit their application form along with a No Objection Certificate from their employer, otherwise, the application form will not be considered. Candidates will not be given separate notice regarding incomplete, unclear, or erroneous application forms, and such applications will be rejected.
Candidates who do not possess the prescribed qualifications should not apply.
The name of the post and the category for which the application is being submitted must be clearly mentioned on the envelope and in the application form; otherwise, the application will be rejected.
The sender's name and complete correspondence address (including email address and mobile number) must be clearly mentioned on the envelope and in the application form.
Applicants should verify their eligibility themselves and submit the application form only if they meet the prescribed qualifications and conditions for the advertised post.
If an applicant is found ineligible at any stage of the selection process, their application will be rejected, and their candidature will be terminated.
For all these posts, eligible candidates will be selected/appointed on a contractual basis/fixed salary for a maximum period of 02 years in the first instance. Thereafter, based on work performance, efficiency, conduct, and the department's requirements, and on the recommendation of the controlling officer, the suitability will be assessed, and the contract/service period may be extended by the District Collector for one year at a time. Otherwise, the appointment will automatically terminate upon the expiry of the appointment period.
The appointment of the selected candidate will be purely temporary and can be terminated without assigning any reason.
The tenure of these posts will be limited to the duration of the scheme's operation by the Government of India, and thereafter, the posts will be abolished.
