Eligibility Criteria
- For Medical: Post Graduate degree (MD/MS/DNB) in relevant subjects from a recognized University with 5 years R&D/Teaching experience in the relevant subject after MD/MS/DNB.
- For Medical: MBBS degree recognized by MCI with 8 years R&D/Teaching experience in the relevant subject after MBBS degree.
- For Medical: BDS/B.V.Sc & AH with one year internship and a Master’s degree in relevant subjects in recognized institute(s) with 5 years R&D/Teaching experience in the relevant subject after Master’s degree.
- For Medical: BDS/B.V.Sc & AH degree with one year internship in recognized institute(s) with 5 years R&D/Teaching experience in the relevant subject after BDS/B.V.Sc & AH degree.
- For Medical and Non-Medical: 2 years of experience in the management of R & D projects in a team effectively.
- For Non-Medical: Ph.D degree in Microbiology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology subject from a recognized University with 5 years R&D/Teaching experience in the relevant subject after Ph.D.
- For Non-Medical: First class MPH/Pharm D (Doctor of Pharmacy)/Master's degree in Microbiology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Life sciences/Pharmacy/MHA from a recognized university with 8 years R&D/teaching experience in the relevant subject after 1st Class Master's Degree.
- For Non-Medical: Second class M.Sc/MPH + Ph.D degree in the relevant subject from a recognized University with 8 years R&D/teaching experience in the relevant subject post qualification.
- Desirable (Medical): Post-doctoral research/teaching experience in relevant subjects in recognized institute(s) and knowledge of Computer Applications/Data Management.
- Desirable (Non-Medical): Post-doctoral research/teaching experience in relevant subjects in recognized institute(s) and knowledge of Computer Applications or Business Intelligence tools/Data Management.

Selection Process
- Applicants will be shortlisted based on the details furnished in the application, CV, and documentary proof provided.
- The final selection will be based on application, CV, and interview.
- Interview will cover Health Technology Assessment, Research Methodology, and Basic Epidemiology.
- Interviews may be conducted in person or via videoconferencing at the discretion of the Principal Investigator.

- This position is purely on contract basis for an externally sponsored project, and the person engaged will have no claim to any regular post in JIPMER.
- The engagement may be extended or curtailed at the discretion of the Project Investigator.
- Qualification and experience should be in a relevant discipline/field and in a reputed institution/organization, and experience should have been gained after acquiring the essential qualification.
- Qualification, experience, and other terms and conditions may be relaxed or altered at the discretion of the Principal Investigator.

- Consolidated salary of the post may vary from time to time and no other allowance/facilities other than consolidated salary shall be extended.
- Submission of wrong or false information at any stage during the process of selection or canvassing of any kind will lead to disqualification or termination if detected after engagement.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for written test and/or interview, and decision of the Project Investigator will be final.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
