Teacher Eligibility Test 2011 (CTET) – Online Application Form Apply Now: The Central government of india is going to be conducting Teacher Eligibility Test from this year 2011, in the name of CTET – 2011.Candidates those who are done B.Ed Degree will no longer be enough to become a school teacher. Aspirants will now have to clear an eligibility test with at least 60% to be able to teach at any private or government schools. The teacher eligibility test (TET) will be conducted once a year separately by the state government and the centre. Validity of the qualifying certificate will be decided by the state government, union territory or centre, subjects to the condition that it cannot be more than seven years. NCTE on Friday issued detailed guidelines for TET. In the next fee weeks may states are going to start the recruitment process. The information regarding eligibility criteria, application fee and other information of Teacher Eligibility Test is mentioned below…

Eligibility Criteria: The minimum qualification for classes 1 to 5, Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or applying in final 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (or its equivalent). (OR) Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or aspiring in final 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El, Ed). The minimum qualification for classes 6 to 8, B.A/B.Sc with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in education (B.Ed). (OR) BA/B.Sc with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year B.Ed (Special Education). Relaxation as per rules.

Application fee: Demand draft for Rs 500/- for GEN/OBC candidates, Rs 250/- for SC/ST/Differently abled category in favour of Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi drawn in any Nationalized Bank payable at Delhi. Candidates write their name, address and registration number on the back of the Demand draft.

How to apply: The eligible aspirants have to apply through either Online or Offline.

Online Application form: The candidates have to apply through online from www.cbse.nic.in between 08/04/2011 to 10/05/2011. Candidates follow the user guidelines and instructions at the time of online submission. Candidates are required to take a print out of the online application form after successfully submission of data and send it along with a recent passport size photograph pasted on the online application form and Demand draft to the following address by Registered/speed post, on or before 15/05/2011, (For remote areas 22/05/2011), The Assistant Secretary (CTET), Central Board of Secondary Education, Shiksha Sadan, 17 Rouse Avenue, New Delhi-110002.

Offline Application Form: Candidates can also apply through Offline, in the prescribed format of application (Information Bulletin), Information Bulletin containing application form can be had personally from the Designated Branches of Syndicate Bank, Institutions against cash payment. Candidates must follow the instructions strictly as given in the Information Bulletin. Candidates filling the application in his own hand writing in box only and should paste unattested recent passport size photograph space provided in the application form and send it to the following address by Registered/speed post on or before 15/05/2011, (For remote areas 22/05/2011), The Assistant Secretary (CTET), Central Board of Secondary Education, Shiksha Sadan, 17 Rouse Avenue, New Delhi-110002.

Sale of CTET Information Bulletin with Application Form at Designated branches: 20/04/2011 to 10/05/2011.
Online submission of application and Fee through credit/debit card: 08/04/2011 to 10/05/2011.
Receipt of request for Information Bulletin and Application Form by Post: 15/04/2011 to 30/04/2011.
Issue of Admit Card: 11/06/2011 to 17/06/2011.
Issue of duplicate Admit Card: 20/06/2011.
Date of Examination: 26/06/2011 (9.30 to 11.00 hours and 12.30 to 14.00 hours).
Declaration of Results: 26/07/2011.
Dispatch of CTET Certificates/Mark Sheet: 26/08/2011.

  1. i have cleared my kvs(prtlevel).after it i have cleared ctet(tgtlevel).according to condition i have sent my report card of ctet.i would like to know that i m applicable or not for prt level.
