OR 15 years of administrative experience, of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.

The qualifications and other conditions prescribed in the present advertisement are subject to the regulations/norms stipulated by MoE/UGC/University from time to time.
The Age, Experience and Qualifications shall be reckoned as on the closing date of the Online Application. It shall be the responsibility of the candidate to ascertain his/her own eligibility for the post in accordance with the prescribed qualifications, experience, etc before submitting the application. Suppression of factual information, supply of fake documents, providing false or misleading information or canvassing in any manner on the part of the candidates shall lead to his/her disqualification. Any time even after appointment if it is noticed that the candidate does not possess the eligibility prescribed in the Notification or that the claim made by him/her with respect to the qualifications/experience/other credentials are false or misrepresented, then his/her appointment shall be terminated forthwith. The candidate shall be held solely responsible for the same and the consequences thereupon.
The Experience Certificate (s) submitted by the candidates should clearly specify the detailed break-up of experience with period of service, scale of pay, nature of appointment (Regular, Contract, Temporary etc), Scale of pay, nature of Organisation (State Govt, Central Govt, PSU, Autonomous Body, Aided, Private etc.). (Offer letters, Appointment Orders, Joining Report, Relieving Orders, etc., will not be considered as Experience Certificate).

The supporting documents should be serially numbered and the serial numbers are to be referred against the relevant entry in the hard copy of the application. Applications will be summarily rejected if hard copy of the same is not received with all the supporting documents on or before the last date of receipt of application.

The University will issue call letters to the shortlisted candidates and other correspondences through email only. Applicants are advised to submit the applications to the University well in advance without waiting for the last date to avoid postal delay or delay due to technical or other unforeseen events or circumstances. The university will not be responsible for any delay in submission of application at any stage.
Candidates already in service must submit Endorsement by the Employer in the prescribed format. Candidates who are unable to upload NOC/Endorsement by the Employer may upload an undertaking stating that the NOC/Endorsement by the Employer will be submitted along with hard copy of the application or at the time of attending interview, if called for. Candidates fail to produce to the NOC will not be permitted to attend the interview.
Online Application fee is Rs.2,000/- for General/EWS/OBC Candidates. The online application processing fee is non-refundable, and no enquiries shall be entertained in this regard by the University. The fee shall be remitted through online (Credit/Debit Cards, NEFT, Net Banking etc.). A copy of the transaction receipt should be enclosed along with the application. Women candidates and Candidates belongs to SC, ST & PWD categories are exempted from payment of application fee.
Outstation candidates (beyond 30 Km) belonging to SC/ST/PwBD categories called for interview will be reimbursed Single Second Class railway fare from station to station towards journey expenses on production of ticket and proof of category (as per GoI rules). The above mentioned concessions shall not be admissible to those SC/ST/PwBD candidates who are already in Central/State Government Services.
Candidates, who have obtained degrees or diplomas or certificates for various courses from any institution declared fake/derecognized by the University Grants Commission at the time of obtaining the degree shall not be eligible for being considered for recruitment to the post advertised.
The minimum educational qualification and experience, constitution of Selection Committee, method of recruitment or any other eligibility criteria, etc. applicable on the post shall be governed strictly as per the UGC Regulations/Guidelines, Central University of Kerala Statute/Ordinance. Any amendment to the Notification/Regulations/Guidelines of the UGC/Government of India in future shall be adopted mutatis-mutandis by the University for implementation in supersession of the existing provisions already adopted and incorporated in these Rules.
The prescribed essential qualifications are the minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for interview. Where the number of applications received is large and/or where it will not be convenient or possible to conduct interview all the candidates, the University at its discretion may restrict the number of candidates to a reasonable limit on the basis of higher qualifications/experience than that prescribed in the Notification.
The recruitment to the advertised posts shall be carried out in accordance with the prevalent University / UGC / GOI rules and regulations framed from time to time. No interim queries regarding interview/selection will be entertained.
If selected, the terms and conditions of appointment shall be communicated to the selected candidate in the form of 'Offer of Appointment'. If the candidate does not accept the terms and conditions mentioned in the offer of appointment within the stipulated time mentioned in the offer letter, the offer shall be treated as withdrawn
At the time of appointment, a 'Service Agreement' shall be executed between the University and the employee concerned and a copy of the same shall be kept in the University. Such service agreement shall be duly stamped and notarised as per the rates applicable.
The person appointed against any post shall be governed by the Act/Statutes/Ordinances/Rules of the University and also the CCS (Conduct) Rules, 1964, CCS (CCA) Rule,1965 or any other rules of the Government of India, as amended from time to time and any other rule/resolution prescribed specifically for maintaining the conduct of the employees by the Executive Council of the University.
If selected and appointed, the candidate shall be required to produce a medical fitness certificate from the medical board as specified by the university. PwBD (Divyang) Candidates applying for the post must meet the functional requirements as per GoI guidelines.
The candidates selected for the post shall be required to serve at any place/Center as notified by the Central University of Kerala. The University shall be free to assign additional duties as per the service requirements to the appointed candidate.
All the appointees including the in-service candidates shall be governed by the National Pension Scheme (NPS) of Govt. of India with all its amendments made from time to time.
The appointment of a candidate shall be subject to verification of character and antecedents by the competent authority. Until the verification of character and antecedents reports are received, the appointment shall be treated as provisional. In case the report/s with regard to his/her conduct, character, antecedents, etc., is found to be unsatisfactory, the appointment shall be cancelled/terminated forthwith.
The pay of the selected candidates will be fixed as per the rules and regulations issued by the Government of India from time to time.
In case of any disputes, the jurisdiction shall be the Hon'ble High Court of Kerala.
Any errors and omissions detected in the Advertisement are subject to rectification by the University. In case of any ambiguity pertaining to the eligibility criteria for any post, dispute/ambiguity that may occur in the process of selection, the decision of the University shall be final. In case of any inadvertent mistake in the process of selection which is detected at any stage even after the issuance of appointment letter, the University reserves the right to modify/withdraw/cancel any communication made to the candidates.
The University reserves the right to: (a) withdraw the Notification at any time without assigning any reasons to this effect (b) to fill or not to fill up the post advertised for any reasons whatsoever. If any advertisement for any post is withdrawn by the University, the application fee collected from the candidates shall be refunded within a reasonable period of time.
Anything which is not mentioned in this notification will be dealt as per the Orders/Rules of GoI/ UGC /Min of Education/Central University of Kerala.
