NIPER SAS Nagar Research Associate-I 2026 Vacancy Details

The total number of vacancies for NIPER SAS Nagar Research Associate-I Recruitment 2026 is 1 post under DBT-BIRAC sponsored project GP-493. The position is purely temporary, project-based, and co-terminus with the project.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

• Research Associate-I: Ph.D./MD/MS/MDS or equivalent degree OR 3 years of research, teaching and design & development experience after M.VSc./M.Pharm/ME/M.Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.

2. Desirable Qualification / Role

• The RA will be responsible for all aptamer synthesis and conducting in-vitro and in-vivo experiments related to the project.

3. Nationality

• Only eligible Indian nationals can apply for this position.

Age Limit

• Maximum age limit for Research Associate-I is 35 years.
• Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates will be as per Government of India rules, subject to valid proof attached with application.

Selection Process

• Selection will be through online interviews.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the online interview.
• Interview call letters will be sent to shortlisted candidates through email only.
• Process of selection may include a presentation and/or interview, or any other process as decided by the competent authority.

Salary/Stipend

• Research Associate-I: Rs. 58,000 per month plus HRA, as admissible.
• Engagement is full-time, purely temporary, and subject to availability of funds.
• Initial appointment is for 1 year, extendable based on satisfactory performance and project duration, up to the project end date (co-terminus with project).

• The position is purely temporary and project-based; it is co-terminus with the project and confers no claim for regular appointment.
• Candidature will be treated as invalid ab-initio if eligibility criteria are not fulfilled as on the last date of receipt of application.
