Application Form Fee

  • The SSC CHSL application fee is INR 100 for General/ OBC/ EWS candidates. 
  • There is no fee for female candidates of all categories, and candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwD, and Ex-Servicemen categories. 
  • The application fee can be paid online through various methods like BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or by using a credit/ debit card.

  • SSC CHSL Application Last Date and Application Fee: 18-07-2025 at 11:00 PM
  • Last date and time for making online fee payment: 19-07-2025 (23:00)
  • Dates of ‘Window for Application Form Correction’ and online payment of Correction Charges: 23-07-2025 to 24-07-2025 (23:00)
  • Schedule of Tier-I (Computer Based Examination): 08-09-2025 to 18-09-2025
  • Schedule of Tier-II (Computer Based Examination): February-March 2026

SSC Recruitment 2025 Age Limit (as on 01-08-2025)

  • The age of the candidate must be between 18 and 27 years as of the specified date in the official notification. 
  • For the 2025 exam, the date is likely August 1st, 2025. Candidates born not before August 2, 1998, and not later than August 1, 2007, are eligible to apply. 
  • Age relaxations are applicable for candidates belonging to reserved categories like SC/ST, OBC, PwD, etc.

Qualification

  • Candidates must have passed the 12th standard (or equivalent) examination from a recognized board. 
  • Candidates appearing in their 12th standard exams are also eligible to apply, but they must possess the required qualification by the cutoff date for document verification. 
  • For Data Entry Operator (DEO) in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG), candidates must have passed 12th standard with Mathematics as a subject in the science stream.

Salary

  • Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA): Pay Level-2 (Rs. 19,900-63,200).
  • Data Entry Operator (DEO): Pay Level-4(Rs. 25,500-81,100) and Level-5(Rs. 29,200-92,300).
  • Data Entry Operator, Grade ‘A’: Pay Level-4(Rs. 25,500-81,100).
