Eligibility Criteria
- S-2/05 — Deputy Dairy Development Officer: Bachelor’s Degree in Dairy Technology OR Diploma in Dairy Science OR Uttar Pradesh Dairy Development qualifications; (2) 5 years experience of Co-operative Milk Scheme or Milk Product plants (if no B.Tech in Dairy Tech); (3) Working knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari script.
- S-2/06 — Joint Director (Evaluation): Post-graduate degree (48% aggregate) in Business Administration / Agricultural Economics / Agronomy / Economics / Econometrics / Mathematical Statistics / Cultural Anthropology / Agriculture or Engineering + at least 10 years experience of programme evaluation. Preference for Doctorate or PG in Engineering with project formulation experience.
- S-10/04 - Deputy Secretary (IT): M.E/M.Tech, in Computer Science and Engineering/Information Technology from a recognized University/Institution with 12 years experience in Database Management/ Data Processing.
- S-2/07 — Deputy Director: Post-graduate degree in Human Geography / Statistics / Economics / Sociology / Business Management / Industrial Engineering / Public Administration + 5 years research/training experience.
- S-3/06 — Assistant Archaeological Officer: Second Class Master’s in Ancient Indian History, Culture & Archaeology or Indian Medieval History + diploma in archaeology OR two years field experience in archaeological exploration/excavation approved by ASI.

Selection Process
- Selection may include a Screening Examination (Objective Type) and Interview as per UPPSC regulations. Where Screening Examination is held, merit is determined by 75% marks of Screening Test + 25% marks of Interview.
- Minimum efficiency standard: SC/ST — 35% in Screening exam; Others — 40% (candidates below these marks shall not be placed in merit/select list)
- Negative marking for objective-type Screening Examination: penalty of one third (0.33) of marks assigned to the question for each wrong answer. Multiple answers treated as wrong.
- Mere possession of minimum educational qualification does not entitle candidate to be called for interview; Commission may call candidates based on merit/requirement
How To Apply
- Apply Online through UPPSC website: https://uppsc.up.nic.in. OTR (One Time Registration) on https://otr.pariksha.nic.in is mandatory before applying.
- Online application process has multiple stages: OTR → Application Part-I/Part-II → Fee payment (SBI MOPS) → Final submission. Take printouts at stages as instructed
- After final online submission, take print of the application and transaction slip. In case of payment failure, use 'Candidate Dashboard' → 'Pending Payment' to complete payment.
- Send self-attested photocopies of all required documents along with printout of online form by registered/speed post or by hand to the Office of the Commission by the hard-copy deadline. Envelope should be A-4 size and must have the auto-filled address slip pasted on it (failure may lead to rejection). Separate envelope for each post if applying to multiple posts
- Candidates must preserve all reference information (O.T.R. number, Application ID, fee payment slip, etc.) for future correspondence
