DSC – SGT, LP, School Asst, PET Selection Procedure Details: District Selection Committee, Government of Andhra Pradesh usually conducts the teacher recruitment test for the recruitment of School Assistant, Secondary Grade Teachers, Language pandits, Physical Education Teachers. The selection is based on APTET score followed by the written test. The following are the guidelines regarding the selection procedure.

Selection Procedure:

1. TET Examination: Government of Andhra Pradesh (School Education Department) conducts the TET Examination twice in a year. The candidates who are qualified in the TET exam are eligible to apply for the Teacher Recruitment Test.

2. Teacher Recruitment Test: District Selection Committee, Government of AP conducts the teacher recruitment test for the recruitment of School Assistants, Language Pandits, Secondary Grade Teacher and Physical Education Teacher.

3. Method of Selection: The total marks is of 100, out of which 80% shall be based on the written test and 20% is based on APTET score for the posts of School Assistant, Secondary Grade Teacher and Language Pandit. But for the post of Physical Education Teacher the total 100 marks is completely based on the written test only.
