JPSC Vacancy Details:
Total Number of Vacancies: 27
Name of Post: Geologist
Age Limit: Candidates’ age must be between 23 to 35 years. Cutoff date for determining age limit would be 19-09-2011. (Age Relaxations extended as per Govt. rules).
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a Masters Degree in Geology or Applied Geology from any recognized university with at least second division.
Application Fee Details: General and OBC candidates need to pay Rs. 550/- and SC/ST candidates of Jharkhand need to pay Rs. 300/- towards application fee and postal charges. Fee must be paid in form of Challan downloaded from www.jpsc.gov.in at any SBI branch in the Sub Account No. 32248890481.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Written Test and Interview.
How to Apply: Candidates must download the application format available in the notification and fill all mandatory details. Application must be sent along with copies of all relevant documents through registered or speed post to the following address, Examination Controller, Jharkhand public Service Commission, Circular Road, Ranchi – 834 001 on or before 30-04-2012.

Age Limit: Candidates’ age must be between 23 to 35 years. Cutoff date for determining age limit would be 01-08-2011 for Jr. Engineer (Civil and Mechanical) and 01-05-2010 for Jr. Engineer (Electrical). (Age Relaxations extended as per Govt. rules).
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a Diploma in respective discipline from any recognized university.
