Eligibility Criteria
Technical/Engineering Posts: First Class Degree (full time) in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile/Civil etc.) from a recognized University/Institution. PG Degree/Diploma often an advantage.
Finance Posts (CGM/GM): CA/ CMA/ two years Full Time First Class MBA in Finance.
HR Posts (CGM/GM): Two years full time First Class PG Degree/PG Diploma in Personnel Management/HRM/MBA (HR)/MSW from a recognised university.
Experience: Varies significantly by grade and function, ranging from minimum 4 years for Assistant Manager (Gr III) to 21 years for Chief General Manager (Gr IX). The experience must be post-qualification and relevant to the specific role.
First class is reckoned at 60% marks (aggregate of all semesters/years). Qualifying marks are relaxable by 5% for SC/ST & PwD candidates.
Private sector candidates for GM & CGM roles must be employed in a company with an average annual turnover of Rs. 1000 crore or more in the last three financial years.
Salary/Stipend
Salaries are based on BEML Pay Scales:
Grade III (Asst Mgr): Rs.50,000 – 1,60,000
Grade IV (Manager): Rs.60,000 – 1,80,000
Grade VII (Dy. General Manager): Rs.90,000 – 2,40,000
Grade VIII (General Manager): Rs.1,00,000 – 2,60,000
Grade IX (Chief General Manager): Rs.1,20,000 – 2,80,000
Besides Basic Pay, candidates are eligible for Variable Dearness Allowance, Perquisites & Allowances (currently 13.78% of Basic Pay under Cafeteria System), Company Accommodation / HRA, PF, Gratuity, PRP etc., as per company rules.
Age Limit (as on 10-01-2026)
Upper Age Limit as on 10.01.2026:
Grade III: 30 years
Grade IV: 34 years
Grade VII: 45 years
Grade VIII: 48 years
Grade IX: 51 years
Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC - NCL, and additional 10 years for PwD candidates is admissible.
The maximum age with all relaxations shall not exceed 57 years.
Application Fee
A non-refundable fee of Rs.500/- is to be paid by GEN / EWS / OBC candidates applying for the positions.
No fee is applicable for SC/ST/ PwD candidates.

Selection Process
Eligible candidates will be shortlisted for assessment based on their online application details and documents uploaded.
The management reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates and increase the qualifying percentage based on applications received.
Shortlisted candidates will undergo pre-employment medical examination and original document verification.
Appointment is subject to meeting the company's medical standards.
Intimation regarding assessments will be sent only through email or posted on the website.

These positions are not open for internal candidates already employed at BEML.
Candidates employed in Central/State Government, PSUs, etc., must produce a specific "No Objection Certificate" (NOC) at the time of assessment/interview.
The place of posting can be any of BEML's Manufacturing facilities or offices across India (Bangalore/Mysore specified for most roles). All posts carry All India Service Liability.
