Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: Responsible for functional and system level verification of the storage products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards Develop and execute unit and build verification test plans and suites, track and report test status. Develop test scripts, test plans and technical specifications. Participate in code reviews, following standard revision control, bug tracking, and release practices Candidate Profile Qualifications: BSEE or BS Computer Science/Math, or equivalent 0-5+ years of professional experience in software verification Experience testing storage products Experience in test scripting (PERL, C etc) Experience in software testing, documentation and process improvement Demonstrated understanding of hardware/software interface issues and understanding of hardware system designs Superior debugging and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and documentation skills DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS Working knowledge of storage technologies - SCSI, SAS/SATA, and RAID Understanding of storage management interfaces, APIs and libraries Company Details PMC-SierraTM is a leading provider of broadband communications and storage semiconductors for enterprise, access, metro, storage, wireless infrastructure, laser printers and customer premises equipment.
