Qualifications

• OIC Polyclinic: Basic Qualification - Graduate. 100% reservation for only retired Services Officers from Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force who should be drawing pension from Defence estimates through CDA. Work Experience - Minimum 03 years work experience in Health Care Institutions or Managerial positions. Computer working knowledge required. Age up to 63 years.
• Medical Specialist: Basic Qualification - MD/MS in Speciality concerned. Work Experience - Minimum 03 years after internship in the subject concerned after Post Graduation. Computer working knowledge required. Age up to 68 years. 60%/40% reservation for ESM/Civilian.
• Gynaecologist: Basic Qualification - MD/MS in Speciality concerned OBS & GYN. Work experience - Minimum 03 years after internship. Preferable additional Qualifications in Medicine/Surgery. Computer working knowledge required. Age up to 66 years. 60%/40% reservation for ESM/Civilian.
• Medical Officer: Basic Qualification - MBBS. Work experience - Minimum 03 years after internship. Preferable additional Qualifications in Medicine/Surgery. Computer working knowledge required. Age up to 66 years. 60%/40% reservation for ESM/Civilian.
• Dental Officer: Basic Qualification - BDS. Work experience - Minimum 03 years after internship. Preferable additional Qualifications in Medicine/Surgery. Computer working knowledge required. Age up to 63 years. 60%/40% reservation for ESM/Civilian.
• Radiographer: Basic Qualification - Diploma (Closed Radiography Course from recognized Armed Forces). Computer working knowledge required. Work experience - Minimum 05 years experience as a Laboratory Assistant in Medical Laboratory. Age up to 56 years. 70%/30% reservation for ESM/Civilian.
• Laboratory Assistant: Basic Qualification - DMLT for civilian and Class I Laboratory Tech Course (Armed Forces) for ESM. Minimum 05 years work experience in Laboratory. Computer working knowledge required. Age up to 56 years. 70%/30% reservation for ESM/Civilian.
• Laboratory Technician: Basic Qualification - B.Sc. (Medical Lab Technology) Or Diploma in Medical Lab Technology from a recognized institution. Computer working knowledge required. Work experience - Minimum 03 years experience as a Laboratory Assistant in Medical Laboratory. Age up to 56 years. 70%/30% reservation for ESM/Civilian.
• Physiotherapist: Basic Qualification - Diploma / Class-I Physiotherapy course (Armed Forces). Computer working knowledge required. Work experience - Minimum 05 years experience. Age up to 56 years. 70%/30% reservation for ESM/Civilian.
• Pharmacist: Basic Qualification - B Pharmacy from a recognized Institute or 10+2 with science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) from a recognized board and Approved Diploma in Pharmacy from an Institute recognized by the Pharmacy council of India and registered as pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act 1948. Work experience - Minimum 03 years experience. Computer working knowledge required. Age up to 56 years. 70%/30% reservation for ESM/Civilian.
• Nursing Assistant: Basic Qualification - BSc Nursing (Nurse) or GNM Diploma / Class-I Nursing Assistant Course from Armed Forces (General). Work experience - Minimum 05 years. Computer working knowledge required. Age up to 56 years. 70%/30% reservation for ESM/Civilian.
• Dental Hygienist/Dental Assistant/Dental Mechanic: Diploma Holder in Dental Hyg/ Class-I DH/DORA Course (Armed Forces) Or Should have passed 10+2 with science or equivalent from a recognized Board or institution and should have 02 yrs diploma in Dental hygienist / Dental hygienist/ Dental Mechanic courses recognized by Dental Council of India. Work Experience - Minimum 05 years experience in Dental Laboratory for Dental Hygienist or Assistant & 03 yrs in Dental Laboratory for Dental Technician. Computer working knowledge required. 70%/30% reservation for ESM/Civilian.
• Driver: Basic Qualification - Class pass for civilian & Class I MT driver (Armed Forces). Possess a civil driving licence for ESM. Work Experience - Minimum 5yrs work experience as Driver. Valid computer working knowledge required. Age up to 53 years.
• Female Attendant: Basic Qualification - Literate. Work experience - Minimum 5yrs experience in Civil/ Army Health Institution. Computer working knowledge required. Age up to 53 years. 70%/30% reservation for ESM/Civilian.
• Chowkidar: Basic Qualification - Education - Class 8th or GD trade for Armed Forces personnel. Work experience - Nil. Age up to 53 years. 70%/30% reservation for ESM/Civilian.
• Safaiwala: Basic Qualification - Literate. Work experience - Minimum 05 years experience in Civil/ Army Health Institution. Age up to 53 years. 70%/30% reservation for ESM/Civilian.
• Data Entry Operator: Basic Qualification - Graduate/Class I Clerical trade (Armed Forces) & Computer working knowledge. Work experience - Minimum 5 years. Age up to 53 years. 70%/30% reservation for ESM/Civilian.
• Clerk: Basic Qualification - Graduate/Class I Clerical trade (Armed Forces) & Computer working knowledge. Work experience - Minimum 5 years. Age up to 53 years. 70%/30% reservation for ESM/Civilian.
• Peon: Basic Qualification - 8 Class / GD Trade (armed Forces). Work Experience - Minimum 5yrs work experience. Computer working knowledge required. Age up to 53 years. 70%/30% reservation for ESM/Civilian.

Essential Qualifications

• Candidates must possess the minimum educational qualifications as mentioned for each post

Selection Process

• Candidates meeting qualitative requirements and who upload scanned copy of documents in PDF format will be shortlisted
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview
• Interview call letter can be downloaded with candidate's login ID & Password
• Interview will be held at designated place, date & time as per website notification
• On Job Training (OJT) - OIC Polyclinic, Medical Specialist, Gynaecologist, Medical Officer & Dental Officer will undergo 10 days ON the JOB TRAINING (OJT) at designated Polyclinic before signing the contract
• All personnel except Medical & OIC will be assessed by Director, Regional Centre
• Duration of ON the JOB TRAINING (OJT) will remain unpaid and is a mandatory requirement before assuming charge as contractual employee
• Record of service will be generated from the date of signing contract only
• Preference will be given to Ex-Servicemen as per reservation policy

General Information/Instructions

• ECHS invites applications to engage staff on contractual basis in ECHS Polyclinics at Ara, Danapur, Muzaffarpur, Chhapra, Darbhanga, Motihari, Hajipur, Siwan, Sitamarhi, Madhubani, Samastipur, Buxar and Patna-II
• Contract period is for one year renewable for additional period of one year till attaining the maximum age
• Appointment subject to performance of candidates and other conditions according to criteria mentioned against each post
• Vacancies are subject to change as per Central Organisation ECHS New Delhi directions and requirements of Polyclinics
• Login and fill the application form & upload scanned copy of documents in PDF format up to 20 January 2026
• Candidates must bring the original documents for interview as enclosed with the online application form
• Required documents include: Proof of Date of Birth, Aadhar Card, Medical Fitness Certificate, Medical/Dental Council Registration Certificate, Experience certificate, Valid Driving License, Education Qualification Certificate, etc.
